This is amazing place and we loved everything! We arrived late, but key box was arranged for us and we could enter our room really quickly. Breakfast was very generous with hot choices available tailored to your own choice. Family room was very comfortable, stylish and well arranged. We loved sanarium and sauna and possibility to go straight to the snow. Definitely will be back and highly recommend!

Excellent location just outside of Salzburg, yet it gives you a feeling of a detached heavenly place thanks to the views and ambiance. Stylish, cozy, clean room. Room and the hotel are decorated with pieces of art, I took time to walk around and checked many of them. Sufficient parking space, which is free of charge. The surroundings are just heavenly, as I sad. Very good breakfast, as the quality of food is superior. I am thinking to come back with friends or family!

SUPERB - we were there on a couples trip + our dog. The hotel is set in a quiet area, 15 mins away from Salzbrug centre and within easy reach of beautiful nature points. The location is great, quiet, scenic. The hotel & rooms are very clean, modern, comfortable. The breakfast was great, and the dinner (paid separately) was even better. Overall, our only regret is not staying a bit longer.

We have just completed a 2 night stay in a family suite and I can not rave about this hotel enough. All the staff were incredibly friendly and professional and so good with my 10 year old daughter. The indoor and outdoor playroom were a big hit and the pool area is amazing. The food was excellent and our room was even nicer than the pictures. Thank to everyone for making my 50th birthday a memorable one!!!

Amazing, clean and convenient small hotel. Despite its size, it gives you an exclusive feeling: well-designed rooms, great restaurant, small yet new and beautiful wellness and fitness area, children game room. Staff is very friendly and helpful and the kitchen staff produces magic (kudos to Sofia). Easy access by bus to the Old Town, you can also get Salzburg card at the hotel. Parking is ample, easy and convenient, which is a great thing when visiting cities like Salzburg.

    The Ebner's Waldhof am See Resort & Spal has very spacious family rooms. The spa area, especially the heated pool, is magnificent. You can come to lunch in a terry robe straight from the spa area. I really liked the food - a large variety of tasty and healthy food - you can even make your own smoothie from apples, carrots, sellerei and ginger. For dinner, you can choose from several menus, including vegetarian cuisine. Dinner dishes are served and decorated at the level of Michelin 5 stars. Every day the hotel has a new plan of events. The hotel is run by a family, their care and attention are present in every corner of the hotel. The atmosphere in the hotel is very warm, welcoming and friendly.

The view from the room is excellent. Excellent sleep on a comfortable bed. The all-day diet was accommodating. There are many places to sit quietly with a view in the hotel and its surroundings. An excellent place for rest and relaxation. Parking near the hotel. Breakfast and everything from the menu were excellent. The hotel has a very pleasant family atmosphere.

    Great hotel for family vacation. We have to give the highest feedback for overall impression. Quality of food is at a very satisfying level with a good variety of meals. Hotel is clean and service is excellent. Staff was helpful and friendly, and I would especially like to give special thank to the Slavica, Ankica, Dusanka, Tamara and Monika, which made us feel whole vacation like home. Swiming pool was warm, playroom area great and kids enjoyed a lot. Ski Bus station is at 30m from hotel.

    The hotel is splendid. When one enters the foyer it is as if they have gone back in time. The service is to perfection, anything one might need is just a question away, often times just a glance away. The interior is very opulent, reminiscing of the Belle Epoque. Dining at the Belvedere restaurant is a gastronomic and an aesthetic experience, with French cuisine and a 180 degrees vista of Lake Zell. Definitely worth a visit!

Love the wellness area and the checkin area, very nice decoration and views. food and wine is very good! we love the kaiserschmarrn, which was the best we've ever had!!! room is big and clean. services are also nice and friendly, and hotel looks quite new actually. they also provided some activities like yoga for guests. In general very relaxing hotel for vacation, way beyond my expectation!

    We had a great 3 night stay. The hotel is conveniently located just off the highway yet very quiet. Getting downtown by public transit was very simple. Just a 4 minute walk to a bus stop and the bus goes all the way to the center of Salzburg. It was also a great location to drive to the Eagles Nest. Just a 30 minute drive.

    I only stayed one and half day in the city and only went very limited places. From i saw and experienced, Salzburg is a beautiful city! Salzburg Card is well worth the money and very convenient to buy (at train station) and use.

    A very beautiful destination, we were alone on the mountain ridges most of the time. We would definitely like to return. For swimming, we recommend the lake in Zell am See rather than the local swimming pool, which is quite small and completely crowded.

    I loved Bad Gastein’s mix of Belle Époque elegance and wild mountain scenery. Mornings meant hiking and cable-car views; afternoons were for soaking in the thermal waters; evenings, cozy bars and great food. The waterfall running through town gives the whole place a dramatic energy. It felt like stepping back in time without losing modern comfort—truly a memorable stay.

    A village in beautiful scenery that lacks something. Accessibility of services (hiking, lifts, restaurants) was a bit confusing. Many services did not have clear English instructions/price lists/online shops. The Tyrolean region summer card seemed to give you a much wider range of services than the Salzburger region.

    It is a residential town so not much atmosphere or amenities other than hotels. It suited us very well as it was very peaceful. Driving or taxi into Salzburg is the best option. Otherwise a bus or taxi to an out of town shopping centre plus a bus from there. We parked out the out of town shopping centre for dinner and got a parking ticket. It was not well advertised that we should have paid for parking. Nothing to do with the hotel but be warned!

    I've been visiting Bad Hofgastein for 12 years in the summer...

    I've been visiting Bad Hofgastein for 12 years in the summer holiday, and with every visit it gets a bigger space in my heart. Plenty of memories, plenty of relaxation, plenty of beautiful and peaceful sceneries, and every year people are being nicer and sweeter. The town keeps developing and renovating that can be noticed in every visit.

    Sankt Johann is a clean and beautiful town with gorgeous...

    Sankt Johann is a clean and beautiful town with gorgeous views of the mountains. Walked to visit the town center for breakfast at Bäckerei-Cafe-Konditorei Bauer. We visited Liechtensteinklamm just before they closed. It was the best time to visit the gorge.

    The old town centre is very picturesque and the area around...

    The old town centre is very picturesque and the area around the Market Place is traffic-free. Mozart's birthpace is one of the main attractions and is very interesting to visit, and not too expensive either. I'm not too great with heights but I thoroughly enjoyed riding the funicular to the Castle for terrific views over the city and out towards the Alpine mountains. Mirabell Park is great for a leisurely stroll, and there is a small playground to keep the children entertained. The restaurants and bars are plentiful and serve a variety of different cuisines to suit all tastes, but try the local specialities such as sausages, stews, schnitzels and goulash, and there is always a good range of German and Austrian beers and lagers to choose from.
