I bought the Innsbruck card as I wanted to do as much as possible and it was well worth the money, several options available and getting it online and onto my phone was very quick and easy. The DE-ticket works between Ehrwald and Garmish, despite that Ehrwald is in Austria, so one can travel freely there. The Zugspitze, Sonnenspitze and other locations are reachable by train/bus/cable car from Ehrwald. The Seebensee is fantastic lake, one can get there by a bus+cable car and using and normal road or a bus and a rather difficult via ferrata. We hiked along the western shore of the lake, up to the Alm that was there. I wished we had had the time and better weather to take the gondola up and hike around in the lofty heights. There is also a hike we want to go back for. You can take a bus west, up valley to another alm, and hike back, or hike both ways.
