I don't remember this level of variety and freshness of food selection in any other hotel. Waiters were super nice, attentive and trying to make us feel as comfortable as possible, while not being obtrusive. I bought the Innsbruck card as I wanted to do as much as possible and it was well worth the money, several options available and getting it online and onto my phone was very quick and easy. We stopped over for one night on our trip from the Dolomites to Salzburg. I first visited Kitzbuhel in 1970 when I was on a high school trip. We loved our basic but clean comfy room with a lake view. The breakfast was one of the best we have experienced. Dinner a bit disappointing but we walked in late without a reservation. The spa was very nicea very beautiful space, but the water in tubs and pool could have been a bit warmer. I snuggles in my plush robe and had tea instead and had a lovely time in the spa regardless. The DE-ticket works between Ehrwald and Garmish, despite that Ehrwald is in Austria, so one can travel freely there. The Zugspitze, Sonnenspitze and other locations are reachable by train/bus/cable car from Ehrwald. The Seebensee is fantastic lake, one can get there by a bus+cable car and using and normal road or a bus and a rather difficult via ferrata. Also there is an indoor climbing (about 15m high) gym with 4 automatic belaying stations in Ehrwald, so one can climb even during bad weather conditions.Guest review byPavelGermany
