This beautiful old castle has many furniture and art pieces from ages gone by, but bathroom and beds were most modern, as was the sauna area. Excellent breakfast buffet. We felt like the lord and lady of the manor. The restaurant serves traditional Austrian food at normal prices.

I like the location and hospitality of the hotel team. After arrival, we were greeted with drinks and while drinking the wonderful lady came to us, and we filled up our details. The Complementary Summer Card covered everything around the area including cable car, boat ride, bus and train. Amazing breakfast. Private parking facility available and 7 minutes walk to the lake. From our balcony we had the lake and Mountain View both . Last but not in the list I wake up from sleep hearing bell from the cow who are grassing on the Alps.

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. On site parking a bonus. Staff very friendly. Ideal location in the town. the terrific weather made the beer garden a bonus. Found a unique bar with beer garden.The food looked and smelled great.we ate in our hotel which was also very good. Buffet style with plenty of choice.     I was here to watch the Europa Cup women's slalom races in mid-January. I was welcomed warmly and treated so very nicely. I was traveling alone (meeting up with friends at the races), so I appreciated the warmth and professional treatment by all staff. Especially kind were the front desk attendant and the dining room attendants named Dragana and Nikolina. The exercise room and saunas were spot clean and fresh, with ample towels, showers and changing rooms. The attendant explained all the areas to me. My room had a most splendid view of the lake with the mountain backdrop. It was a short walk to the bottom of the racing location. Breakfast and coffee (cappuccino/espresso) was very good, many choices. `

    -Summercard is a PLUS! Although we only stayed for one day, it saved us the cost of the hotel itself! Just a pity that we visited the High Reservoirs before knowing this, or the savings would be even more. -Breakfast -Room in general, with balcony, was well maintained and everything working. -Separate toilet and shower, is nice when staying with 3 people. -Plenty of parking space

Ski in, ski out, just few steps or few steps to a bus station both direction - to cityXPress or Trassexpres.Two swimming pools, large sauna world.     An excellent place to visit. Beautiful scenery. Loads to see and do. Lovely food. Would advise when booking accommodation that you book somewhere that includes the summer card as this gives you free access to all the gondolas in the area and free travel on local buses and trains plus discounted entry to many activities and saves you a lot of money.

    Great for family vacation.

    Great for family vacation. Lot of playgrounds and other attractions. Free public transport for guests. We visit (with great success): - Schmidolin’s Adventure World on Schittenhöhe, - Wildpark Ferleiten, - Grossglockner High Alpine Road, and a bit further away: - Krimmel Watterfalls, - Slide Path in the Wildkogel, - Alpentherme in Bad Hofgastein.

    Great authentic Austrian building with space to spare. Don't expect modern but this adds to the charm of the place. Property was well equipped with everything that we needed. Easy parking and access to the building. All conveniences close by or a short drive away. Stunning views from the balcony and all round great place to stay.

    Calm little village with perfect location as starting point for skiing in 3 ski resorts included in Saalbach SkiCircus. Nothing to do in the evening, so it's not for the night life, but I did saw one night club with young people going out late, and the is Zell am See 8 minutes by car! There is also SPAR market in the center.

    You can see a lot of facilities with the summer card. A lot to do for families ( hiking, cycling, rafting, bathing, swimming, sightseeing,visiting museums ). The food and drinks in restaurants are expensive, so it’s better to have food included in the hotel price or buy it in the store.

    We choose Alp Haus because of its location at the start of the Grossglockner Road. The property has plenty of secure parking and like us the owners have classic Volkswagens so we felt that they understood our needs perfectly. The house itself is a tradiional building with flowers on the balconies and a large garden. The flat was very spacious and the views of mountains all around are stunning. There are so many things to do and see within an hours drive and all of the scenery along the way is breathtaking. One of the highlights was driving the car to Bad Fusch which was reccomeneded by the owners. We just didnt have enough time to do everything so we will be coming back next year for a longer stay! We wouls also like to thank Nikki and Danny for being such attentive hosts and making such good suggestions.

    A place with beautiful views and easy access from the main...

    A place with beautiful views and easy access from the main road, close to ski slopes, but you need a car to get there. Breakfast was in the room, but dinner was out at diverse restaurants. You can eat at a local restaurant, very friendly and good food or in Zell am See where we found a lot of different types of restaurants. Piesendorf is easy to walk through and this is one part that I liked that you can walk even during the winter time in fresh air and you can stop at the café/bakery for a cake and a coffee and enjoy the local little village atmosphere. it was great! During the day you can ski, walk or just seat in the cafe. Its great!

    It's the right midpoint between the regions of Leogang and...

    It's the right midpoint between the regions of Leogang and Saalbach-Hinterglemm, if you are into mountain biking, and the Grosser Donnerkogel, if you are into via ferratas. Being in Zell am See gave us the possibility to do multiple things withing a 1h driving radius.
