We liked the size of the room, the separate beds in the children's room, the big balcony and the amazing view from the balcony. Also, we liked the complimentary drinks, coffee and tea and the family cozy lobby area where you can relax for a while with a good book. Special thanks to the friendly receptionist, who put our stuff in their fridge at the reception, since the room had none.

    Our stay at Grant Hotel Zell am See was a truly memorable experience! The hotel boasts a breathtaking location with stunning views of the lake and mountains, and the facilities are top-notch. The staff were warm, professional, and always ready to assist, which made us feel genuinely welcome. The food was excellent throughout our stay, with a rich and varied breakfast buffet and delicious dinners that showcased high-quality ingredients and careful preparation. We did celebrate a birthday during our visit, and while the hotel had planned a small celebration during dinner, we were checking out that day and kindly asked if it could be moved to breakfast instead. The staff accommodated our request, which we truly appreciated. However, the celebration itself was quite modest—mainly colorful stickers on the table. While it was a thoughtful gesture, a bit more effort or a small personal touch could have made it feel more special, especially given the premium nature of the hotel. Despite that minor detail, our experience was overwhelmingly positive. Grant Hotel Zell am See is a fantastic choice for those seeking a luxurious, relaxing getaway in a stunning location.

    We stayed in a family suite which was clean, modern, great size room (given we had 2 children too) and very much to our taste. The food varied every night and replenished quickly. The facilities for Children are fantastic and even after hours of skiing all they wanted to do was play in the football area, ball pit or indoor play. Outdoor pool temperature was a great surprise, VERY warm and just what we needed after a days skiing. Ski room with dedicated locker to leave all the gear. Staff were friendly and approachable throughout our stay.

Would advise when booking accommodation that you book somewhere that includes the summer card as this gives you free access to all the gondolas in the area and free travel on local buses and trains plus discounted entry to many activities and saves you a lot of money.

    Great for family vacation. Lot of playgrounds and other attractions. Free public transport for guests. We visit (with great success): - Schmidolin’s Adventure World on Schittenhöhe, - Wildpark Ferleiten, - Grossglockner High Alpine Road, and a bit further away: - Krimmel Watterfalls, - Slide Path in the Wildkogel, - Alpentherme in Bad Hofgastein.

    Great authentic Austrian building with space to spare. Don't expect modern but this adds to the charm of the place. Property was well equipped with everything that we needed. Easy parking and access to the building. All conveniences close by or a short drive away. Stunning views from the balcony and all round great place to stay.

    Calm little village with perfect location as starting point for skiing in 3 ski resorts included in Saalbach SkiCircus. Nothing to do in the evening, so it's not for the night life, but I did saw one night club with young people going out late, and the is Zell am See 8 minutes by car! There is also SPAR market in the center.

    You can see a lot of facilities with the summer card. A lot to do for families ( hiking, cycling, rafting, bathing, swimming, sightseeing,visiting museums ). The food and drinks in restaurants are expensive, so it’s better to have food included in the hotel price or buy it in the store.

    We choose Alp Haus because of its location at the start of the Grossglockner Road. The property has plenty of secure parking and like us the owners have classic Volkswagens so we felt that they understood our needs perfectly. The house itself is a tradiional building with flowers on the balconies and a large garden. The flat was very spacious and the views of mountains all around are stunning. There are so many things to do and see within an hours drive and all of the scenery along the way is breathtaking. One of the highlights was driving the car to Bad Fusch which was reccomeneded by the owners. We just didnt have enough time to do everything so we will be coming back next year for a longer stay! We wouls also like to thank Nikki and Danny for being such attentive hosts and making such good suggestions.

    A place with beautiful views and easy access from the main road, close to ski slopes, but you need a car to get there. Breakfast was in the room, but dinner was out at diverse restaurants. You can eat at a local restaurant, very friendly and good food or in Zell am See where we found a lot of different types of restaurants. Piesendorf is easy to walk through and this is one part that I liked that you can walk even during the winter time in fresh air and you can stop at the café/bakery for a cake and a coffee and enjoy the local little village atmosphere. it was great! During the day you can ski, walk or just seat in the cafe. Its great!

    It's the right midpoint between the regions of Leogang and Saalbach-Hinterglemm, if you are into mountain biking, and the Grosser Donnerkogel, if you are into via ferratas. Being in Zell am See gave us the possibility to do multiple things withing a 1h driving radius.
