- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 301 reviewsLocated in a wetlands reserve and with well-marked walks round the grounds. Birding books and Nikon (!) binoculars provided in our detached chalet which had full disabled access and a view over a small pond via the huge sliding windows, all of which were fly-screened. Spotlessly clean throughout. Very well appointed full kitchen with quality utensils and fittings which were a pleasure to use. The oven was so clean I didn't want to sully it! Fast broadband. Each chalet has its own parking bay right alongside it. Greeted on arrival by friendly staff, and the owner is an even-friendlier character. Highly recommended. Worth a mention is Lease 65, four minutes away and selling the biggest, freshest oysters I have ever eaten, all at portside prices (12 for AU$ 24). Amazing.Guest review byMarkUnited Kingdom
- From US$100.69 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 447 reviewsThe twin room containers were good and comfortable (but not very soundproof from neighbors so ok for a short stay). The shared amenities were ok. The open kitchen with pizza oven and bonfire pit were fantastic. Staff was very friendly. Loved the overall experience.Guest review byLucieSwitzerland

Everything about St Helens was beautiful.
Everything about St Helens was beautiful. We really wish we could have stayed alot longer. We had breakfast at the The Lifebuoy Cafe which was awesome!!! Everyone absolutely loved the breakfast (5 stars) and excellent coffee. We also loved visiting the Bay of Fires and found this lovely beach "Squeaky Beach". This place is a must visit for people touring TasmaniaGuest review byMacdonald - 10.0
Binalong Bay is a quiet area with stunning beach views.
Binalong Bay is a quiet area with stunning beach views. Its sand is soft and white and the water is a beautiful aqua colour. The Bay only has one restaurant (serving Pizzas) and would benefit greatly with a cafe and general store. It is a perfect place to unwind.Guest review byjenniferAustralia - 10.0

Ansons Bay is a sleepy little fishing village with no facilities, so you need to bring your own provisions (or go to the nearest township). We wanted a quiet few days, just hiking and sticking to ourselves, so it was perfect. Very tranquil and beautiful and quiet - just what we were looking for. Nearby St Helens was the perfect place to stock up before we arrived, so we had everything we needed - and the house is very well set up.Guest review bySusan BeatonAustralia - 10.0

All the conveniences and a few local surprises in a few streets, within a short distance to the other pretty bay of fires areas too The antique ‘shop in the bush’ with treasures and charm, the calm sea water aspects, our family is certain to plan for a longer stay the next timeGuest review byNeneAustralia - 10.0
Such appealing scenery. Every photo a winner!
Such appealing scenery. Every photo a winner! The red lichen against the blue sky and pristine blue water, with yellow grasses in the foreground … unique area of Tasmania. We chose to stay in a BnB and eat on site. St Helens is the place to pick up supplies and then collect your fresh oysters on the way to Binalong Bay.Guest review byChristineAustralia - 10.0
Not much was open on Sunday which was disappointing
Not much was open on Sunday which was disappointing Hotel restaurant food was very bland and expensive, as was the local Fish shop for take away- and fish was over cooked and chips the worst I’ve ever tasted Good note, lovely walking around and easy access to walkGuest review byCarolAustralia - 10.0
Beautiful location. Amazing views and beaches
Beautiful location. Amazing views and beaches Only negative was that there No phone service anywhere on the area from St Helen’s to binalong bay. No where to eat on binalong bay. Only meresta which was bit disappointing after having read amazing reviews. I suggest u either eat in at Helen’s or pick up suppliesGuest review bygihanAustralia
