We had a three week holiday in Perth and surrounding areas.
We had a three week holiday in Perth and surrounding areas. We planned our journey to do and see as much as possible. To get the most out of all the touristy must sees, you need to be able to walk reasonably long distances and climb up and down stairs often. If your knees are dodgy I would think twice. We loved everything. The roads, public transport and infrastructure are clean and like new. The city is easy to navigate and there are endless things to see and visit. I would recommend September for the weather and wildflowers plus all the wildlife have their babies on show. If you have never been, put Perth on your bucket list. We loved the convenience of the facilities within walking distance of the Mandurah accommodation. The dolphin quay markets were so close as were many eating venues. The Forum was only a 10 minute drive and provided many interesting shops and more eating options. Mini golf located at the Maze was a delightful activity all the family enjoyed this very much . It was a mere 15 minute drive from the accommodation. The Pen provided the perfect venue for our big birthday lunch - great service and food.Guest review bydavies-moore - 10.0

E-bikes great for an overnight stay- covered almost the whole island in 24 hours! Wonderful beaches for swimming (even in August), good Quokka spotting tips from bike staff, and great to stay overnight and have an island almost to yourself as the 4pm ferry departs. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy and cabin has everything you need. Nice and quiet and permanent residences were friendly too. All round very pleasant stay and Caversham area has nice wineries and still close to other attractions. Our favourite place for a good feed with a relaxing atmosphere is a Tavern called “Down the Road” which is just a stone throw away from the park.Guest review byClaudetteAustralia
