Sunrise to sunset, you can see dolphins swimming in the lagoon and birds of all varieties. The apartment was tastefully furnished and the team from Mandurah Luxury Accommodation was most helpful from pre check-in to check-out. Many thanks to Bella, James, Irene and Isabelle for making our stay at Mandurah a most memorable one! We had a three week holiday in Perth and surrounding areas.
We had a three week holiday in Perth and surrounding areas. We planned our journey to do and see as much as possible. To get the most out of all the touristy must sees, you need to be able to walk reasonably long distances and climb up and down stairs often. If your knees are dodgy I would think twice. We loved everything. The roads, public transport and infrastructure are clean and like new. The city is easy to navigate and there are endless things to see and visit. I would recommend September for the weather and wildflowers plus all the wildlife have their babies on show. If you have never been, put Perth on your bucket list. We loved the convenience of the facilities within walking distance of the Mandurah accommodation. The dolphin quay markets were so close as were many eating venues. The Forum was only a 10 minute drive and provided many interesting shops and more eating options. Mini golf located at the Maze was a delightful activity all the family enjoyed this very much . Wonderful beaches for swimming (even in August), good Quokka spotting tips from bike staff, and great to stay overnight and have an island almost to yourself as the 4pm ferry departs. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Beds were comfy and cabin has everything you need. Nice and quiet and permanent residences were friendly too. All round very pleasant stay and Caversham area has nice wineries and still close to other attractions.
