The rooms were beautifully appointed, with every detail considered. The bar opening onto the lawn and outdoor area was superb and the 2 staff we dealt with - the Manager and barman were chatty, friendly, helpful and informative, it had a fantastic vibe and the gardens were superb, we walked to the beach and dinner and it was close but far enough away it was peaceful. Would stay there again in a heartbeat.

We did not have much time in Coffs Harbour. Only one night.

We did not have much time in Coffs Harbour. Only one night. We have driven through Coffs Harbour numerous times and have only stayed there once before this stay, which was in 1991 at Opal Cove when our children were young. We were pleasantly surprised with the location of our stay at Ocean Park Apartments this time.

Byron Bay is one of Australia’s most beloved holiday destinations, known for its laid-back charm and natural beauty. Surrounded by stunning beaches, lush hinterland, and crystal-clear waters, it’s perfect for swimming, surfing, and relaxing in the sun. The town has a vibrant, welcoming atmosphere with boutique shops, organic cafés, and an active arts and music scene. Port Macquarie was a stop over between Brisbane and Sydney so the short stay was what we were looking for. We have stayed in Port on many occasions and this town has a variety of good accommodation, good eating places and many great sites to visit.

Didn't stay long enough, just stopped for one night.

Didn't stay long enough, just stopped for one night. Had dinner at RSL in the cafe which was good, but later found out they had specials which staff didn't mention the locals told us after. Staff at front door were friendly. Unfortunately weather wasn't the best so didn't do much looking around. Next time will stay longer.

Forster is like many other NSW North Coast towns, recreation facilities abound as you are surrounded by Oceans & Lakes. Shopping is mainly centred at the Stockland Mall which is a short car ride away from the centre of town & Beach-side accommodation. There are plenty of Clubs & Pubs for entertainment & if you take yer Fishing Gear you'll be set like a jelly. If you happen to enjoy Oysters the lakeside Oyster Barn is there for your convenience as are many restaurants.

The room that we had for 2 nights was very outdated, the bathroom cupboards looked as though they were about to fall apart and the tap was constantly dripping , there was no plug for shaving, the ceiling paint over the bed was falling off, there was insufficient cutlery for 2 people, the toilet seat was broken and fixtures in the room were falling off. $270 for a night to stay in that is unacceptable.

Stay away - drunk or drugged out body in the foyer we had to step over to get to the lift when we first arrived after a flight and drive. "Welcome to the Paradiso". Then our keys would open the verandah - but not open the room itself. Over an hour we stood outside our room on the phone late at night with management - useless. The room through the window looked like squatters were hiding in there - non existent security. Lucky we had a car and could find other accomodation late at night. Thank God for reputable businesses elsewhere.... and here we are over 3 weeks later and they still won't refund our money. And no mention of helping with the extra $600 we had to fork out to get accomodation so late up the road! Beware Beware Beware. And if you do go there - ask to try your key on other units - it's handy because it gives you free access to other peoples verandahs - brilliant.
