- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 247 reviewsNo food available in the hotel(only tea and coffee in our rooms). Only one option for evening meals which was the pub. If Mt Buller wants to develop a summer destination market then the whole village needs to be on board. More activities, more live music and more food options for a start. There were only two rooms used in the hotel the weekend we were there! Nothing to do=no visitors, no visitors=no point in opening facilities!Guest review byMatthewAustralia

Country location with a city feel.
Country location with a city feel. Great cafes and restaurants in both Albury and Wodonga. High end shopping centre. Short drive to wineries and and tourist towns like Beechworth, Bright and Yarrawonga. When ever I am in Albury I always stock up on great produce at Harris’s Farm Markets. Take a stroll through the Botanic Gardens.Guest review byDianeAustralia - 10

Bright is our favourite place in the world, so I guess we’re a little biased. I could wax lyrical all day about how it’s the perfect spot for families with the river, the wonderful adventure playground, the splash park, the walking tracks and the ice-cream shop with the best ice-cream, not to mention the perfect spot for adventurers at the base of Mt Buffalo and close to the ski fields of Falls Creek and Mt Hotham. It’s the perfect spot for those who don’t want to travel around as everything you could need is within walking distance, and of course the perfect spot for gardeners with the abundance of spring blooms and glorious autumn colour, and let’s mot forget the perfect spot for cyclists … I could go on and on. Instead, I’ll just quote Molly: do yourself a favour!Guest review byDavidAustralia - 10

Wangaratta is a picturesque country town with great places to eat, drink, walk and ride bikes. A great central location to other surrounding areas like Beechworth, Oxley, Milawa, Benalla, Glenrowan, Yackandandah, Albury/Wodonga and the King Valley just to name a few.Guest review byBoatwood - 10
Beechworth is a fantastic immersive experience into the...
Beechworth is a fantastic immersive experience into the past. All the town, shops, buildings capture the essence of the past. It's easy to feel you're back in the 1800's. People are friendly and happy to chat. So much to do from strolling through the town centre to a walk around Lake Sambell. There are a number of wineries nearby. Visit Beechworth Honey, The Brewery right in town for a great meal and a huge variety of beers. Check out Last Street Brewery for an unforgettable experience tasting endless yummy cordials as well as alcoholic liqueurs. There's a cafe attached and lots more to peak your interest. Looking forward to a return visit so we can see more of Beechworth and the surrounding areas.Guest review byKarenAustralia - 6.0
Wodonga is the more upmarket side of the NSW/Victoria border...
Wodonga is the more upmarket side of the NSW/Victoria border. It lacks much in the way of heritage, with only the old railway station (now a trendy cafe area) as any real form of architecture. Albury is a bit more heritage-minded, although not the most pleasant of towns overall, with something of a rough reputation compared with its Victorian twin.Guest review byRailway TobyAustralia - 10
Benalla is a lovely town.
Benalla is a lovely town. This was our third time visiting as we pass through on the way from Sydney to Melbourne. The Botanic Gardens and Art galleries should not be missed. Taking a walk through the lovely shops and backstreets will reveal many interesting paintings on the walls. For longer stays there are also silo trails which need a car to explore. The locals are friendly and there are plenty of supermarkets and takeaways for convenient food.Guest review byGayle - 10
Delatite Winery for light lunch and tasting was a highlight.

People in Myrtleford were friendly and very very pleasant.
People in Myrtleford were friendly and very very pleasant. Went to the Farmers Market yesterday (Saturday 23.8) and met some of the producers and farmers and the goods I bought were fresh and delicious. I recommend going to their Farmers Market if you get a chance. It is a monthly event.Guest review byLuke & MariaAustralia - 8.0
Small wine making region in the King River valley.
Small wine making region in the King River valley. A handfull of small and large winemakers, some of whom have been in the area for generations. Minimal number of eateries for dinner so some forward planning is recommended. Finding accommodation during the Ski season can be a challenge on weekends. Easy day trips to Myrtleford, Bright and Beechworth. Start to the Great Alpine Road (check during winter for snow chain requirements). Easy access from Melbourne and Albury/Wodonga via M31. Visit Rutherglen region, nearby, for excellent fortified wines.Guest review byAus-TravellerAustralia - 6.0

It has been over 20yrs since i have visited Buller in the Winter and stayed overnight. I found the B-Tag system not as user friendly as one would like. I tried topping up my daughters pass and in the end had to go to ticketing. fortunately the honoured the cheaper pricing. We ate at the Buller Chalet, great food and reasonable prices for the mountain. Staff here were lovely. Also ate at The Villager - excellent food and also good value. Staff here were great. Kofflers staff all amazing. I do believe however there really needs to be a cap on how many come to this mountain now. The bus loads of day trippers was something I have never ever seen in my life! Tim to either expand this resort or get a new mountain to open up!!Guest review bySilkyappleAustralia
