Brussels is a busy, capital city so it does get crowded and the traffic is as you would expect but it's a great place to visit. The bars are brilliant (we really like the Poenchenkeller and the Mort Subite) and there are very good places to eat (Wolf has lots of choice for everyone). It's also easy to tour round Belgium from Brussels. We visited Leuven, Mons, Blankenberg and Bruges.Guest review byRuthUnited Kingdom - 10.0

I like the buzzy bussle of Antwerp, lots of nice shops, and restaurants that cater for everyone. Always love the mussles & chips restaurants, and the many chocolate shops. Great historic buildings, a good vibe at any time.Guest review byAnne-MieUnited Kingdom - 10.0
We loved Bruges, it is so quaint and easy to walk around.
We loved Bruges, it is so quaint and easy to walk around. We followed the canals everywhere, found some lovely shops, cafes, markets and the further from the touristy centre, the nice and cheaper they were. We stayed 4 nights, We did a fabulous walking tour with Peter, a great way to learn the history and find where places are. We visited museums, art gallery, markets and a boat ride. On 1 day we caught the train to Ghent and back, and for 65yrs+ you can catch a train to anywhere in Belgium return on the same day for 8.50Euros, great value.Guest review byDianneAustralia - 10.0

Beautiful historic buildings centred around the river and canals. Fabulous lively atmosphere. Plenty of bars and restaurants. Good shopping. Wonderful churches and lots of museums. Lots of little passageways and green spaces to relax in. Great public transport links.Guest review byHitchen - 6.0
Beach was clean and there was plenty of space.
Beach was clean and there was plenty of space. It would have been better to stay nearer the town centre as our apartment was to far to walk. There is also a dog beach which was a bonus. Resturants and cafes were expensive.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

We arrived on a Sunday and the taxi dropped us out of town as traffic is restricted on a Sunday jeez indded! It took 30 minutes to trundle our suitcases to the hotel. So, after that initial mishap and feeling like we were in the Truman Show, we thawed and thoroughly enjoyed our 3 days in the city. Lovely people, restaurants and bars. Special shout to De Hoorn restaurant and Malz bar.Guest review byGo.mallUnited Kingdom - 2.0
Our stay was disappointing due to poor cleanliness,...
Our stay was disappointing due to poor cleanliness, inadequate amenities, and understaffing, with malfunctioning air conditioning and privacy breaches. Its inconvenient location led to frequent transportation issues, and unhelpful staff showed little concern despite complaints. Overall, the experience was far from comfortable or restful, and we do not recommend this hotel.Guest review byequbazgiSwitzerland - 10.0

Blankenberge is for my family a special vacation destination. We like it due to the convenient transport, the train stops in the center of the city. The city is not big and has its charm, by walking it is possible to reach each attraction. The tram allows you to go to the other cities and towns located along the Belgian coast. Therefore, your trip can be even more attractive.Guest review byAnonymousBelgium - 8.0

Zaventem is close to the airport - our main reason for choosing this town. It is an easy journey by train into Brussels central which I would recommend because traffic and parking is difficult. We had a 50% weekend pass so the return trip for both of us was Euros 10.Guest review byViviennePortugal - 10.0
Good choice of restaurants with some posh chocolate shops...
Good choice of restaurants with some posh chocolate shops and good beers. Quite a good range of chain stores and niche smaller shops. Really like its compactness and easy train ride from Brussels. Visit Hasselt tourist centre is about 50m from our hotel Het Menneke. Hasselt Greeters offer free personal introduction to Hasselt. The Japanese Garden, the largest in Europe, is well worth a visit. Best restaurant we found was de Orangerie, sited in a long atrium. Nice menu includes Flemish favourites. Attentive staff. Best bar is Koks&Tales, a slick cocktail bar.Guest review byAdrianUnited Kingdom
