We loved the place! The owner is very cute and helpful, the hotel is full of memories and treasures and has a unique atmosphere. It is located within the historical old city walls, just beside Istambul Gate, 5 min from the river and Castle. Perfect location! Rooms were spacious with boutique hotel furnishings. Breakfast was fine as well!

I got a very pleasant surprise when I reserved a room at this hotel on the bus to Vidin, a bus ride I took on impulse without a definite plan in mind.. A taxi took me from the bus station to the hotel, and I was pleased to see that overcharging foreigners is not common in this town. I got a warm welcome at the reception, and although not much English was spoken, communication was not impossible and I was made to feel welcome. After collecting my key and entering my room, I got my surprise - my room was in fact and apartment, and a very large and spacious one too! In addition to the bedroom, there is a big living room, and well as two small gardens exclusive to the room. I was very comfortable there, and my planned night became 5 nights, and I didn't want to leave. Everyday I was able to extend my stay, and I was always asked if I needed anything for the room. Needless to say, if I ever find myself in the pleasant town of Vidin in the future, I will reserve a room here again.

We really enjoyed our staying at Dunav hotel, the personel was very nice and helpfull, they even offered secure garrage for our motorcicles. We staid in a studio, therefore the room was very big. Bed was really comfortable. Heating equipment was available in room and beathroom. The hotel is near water and central green area.

The room was nice and big and the airconditioning was working very good too. When I arrived I wanted to go to the Belogradchik mountains, but since it was the weekend there was no public transport. Magi went with me to the busstation and helped with finding a taxi, so I could still go! That was very nice, because the mountains were beautiful :) Great service!
