The design of this hotel is outstanding both exterior and interior. The room is well equipped (except not having working table) especially the shower with big rain and body spray. Corridor is well designed with glass panels all over to bring in sunlight and create more transparency & visibility. Art pieces are decorated here and there. It is also conveniently located in the middle of the town where most of the shops and good restaurants are. I sure will come back here next time.

What a stay! Insane views, really cosy walk at the river right next to the hotel and walking distance from Canmore shopping area without the crowd at the hotel neighbourhood..Food and service was perfect, accomodation is as good as new and very clean and comfortable.     I can’t believe the experience we got for the price. This hotel is an absolute gem hidden away at the top of the mountain. It’s so cosy and the views of the snow falling on the mountains from the outdoor hot pool are stunning. The pool is so close to the rooms you can have a dip and a sauna and throw your towel around you and run back to your fire, and it’s open until 10pm. When we arrived they gave us bus passes for our whole stay to get up and back (5mins) to town as much as we wanted so we never had to worry about finding parking or having a designated driver. They give you as much fire wood as you like for no charge so you can have a fire every night. There’s free wifi, 24hr laundry and a book swap and a small kitchenette if you want to cook for yourself. Yes the rooms are pretty basic there’s everything you need and the overall experience is so worth it that everyone we met seemed to be returning customers. Cannot recommend enough!

    Fantastic location, easy to find with fabulous staff who were friendly and exceptional. We greatly enjoyed the room which had everything we needed and was very clean and luxurious. We enjoyed being able to park right outside our room which made it super easy to move our luggage in. Special mention to the friendly and excellent reception staff and excellent and friendly restaurant staff at both breakfast and dinner. Excellent location for both our room around the lake and also the view of the lake from the restaurant. Lovely hot tub and washing machine and tumble dryer room which was cheaper then a laundromat. The lake is beautiful and so is Jasper National Park. I would highly recommend this hotel.

    We spent three nights at Miette Mountain Cabins and absolutely loved it! The cabins are fantastic—spacious, cozy, and set in a beautifully maintained property. There’s a pool, hot tub, barbecue area, campfire spots, and even a games room with pool, darts, and more. They offer free coffee, tea, and cookies, which was a lovely touch. The laundry room was spotless, and everything throughout the property was very clean. The staff were super friendly and welcoming. Plenty of parking available as well. It’s about 30 minutes outside of Jasper, but the peaceful location and atmosphere made it totally worth it. We’d definitely come back!

    Fabulous city to tour! Don't miss the zoo. Take a day trip to Drumheller. We were there for the Stampede which was mind-blowing!!! biggest festival I've ever experienced anywhere! Missed the music hall of fame and museums. I'd go back again to catch them

    Banff is a great place with a super vibe based on the beauty of the forest and mountains. Kids working the restaurants and bars are really nice. In September, we didn’t find it noisy or too crowded but just right. You can easily drive or bike to many local attractions. I recommend a E bike.

    We were there because of an emergency landing of our plane which was traveling to California. I didn't see much of Edmonton therefore. They did say Lake Louise and Banff were only 4 hours away, so that might make it interesting for someone.

    Jasper has a lot to offer.

    Jasper has a lot to offer. It's quieter than Banff, but plenty of food options in a small down town without the same level of overt tourism as Banff. Only drawback is all the areas that remain closed due to fires from over a year ago. We missed out on 3 of the top 4 hikes we had planned to take, so check the trail status before you go.

    I paid nearly $800 per night expecting a quiet, nature-focused stay, as advertised on the hotel’s website. Instead, I was first given a noisy room, and then moved to another that smelled strongly of bleach and had a broken window. Despite my allergy, no alternative room was offered. The bleach fumes caused severe headaches that required painkillers, and by the second day, ants had entered the room. Overall, the experience was extremely disappointing and far from worth the price.

    We used Leduc as a staging area, before flying home from the Edmonton airport, which is also a very nice airport, with lots of amenities. In that respect, Leduc is full of hotels, restaurants, etc., I.e. all the amenities you may want or need, before driving or flying to your next or final destination. Also, if you rented a vehicle for your trip, you can fill the gas tank up at a reasonable price at Costco or some of the gas stations near the airport (just look on GasBuddy) before returning your rental vehicle.
