Beautiful grounds( the owners upkeep to gardens; ponds and boardwalk is impressive! It’s right on the st Lawrence for beautiful views from a common outdoor area and scattered chairs. Cottages are right on the water overlooking gardens each with their own deck table chairs and bbq Inside offers a full kitchen; living room and bedroom. Full bathroom ( just know there’s 1 step up/down to bathroom/kitchen.) Pine interior with clean older furniture. Usually a futon for a couch . Lots of character and themed in nautical decor and Knick Knacks Quiet area just off the road Breakfast included in the price . Basic but enough to satisfy We’ve only stayed 1 night each of our 2 times as just passing through the area. 10 minutes from Prescott for shopping/groceries.Guest review byCatherineCanada

The entertainment on this cruise was enjoyable. Thank you. Where to eat top rated Manadrian Buffet excellent. Dennys on Bension poor service they ran out of food, salad and soup , this was at 730 pm. Gananoque is a great location to visit all of the 1000 islands on the Canadian side. The town had some nice restaurants. The Old English Pub, Purple House and Grayson's at Wood View Inn. took a 5 Hour tour with City Cruises of the 100 Island with a stop at Boldens castle from the docks in town. It was fantastic. The vibe in town is very much geared to tourism. When i planned this trip I knew nothing about Gananoque, but I hit a home run.Guest review byJamesUnited States - 10.0

Watertown is close to 1000 islands, which is a beautiful stretch of the St Lawrence river. We drove through, but we are sure there are beautiful hikes to explore and of course if you have a boat, it is a paradiseGuest review byRobertCanada - 10.0
We like Brockville because of the St.
We like Brockville because of the St. Lawrence River and Block House Island where you can picnic and watch the boats/ships go by. We sometimes take a boat tour. Don’t miss out on Don’s Fish and Chips! We only live an hour away but it is a perfect staycation for us seniors.Guest review byRichardCanada - 2.0
This was our first trip to the 1,000 Islands.
This was our first trip to the 1,000 Islands. There is no comparison between Alexandria Bay and Clayton. After the disastrous start, refusing to stay in our Alexandria Bay hotel, we stayed in Clayton. That is a beautiful town and we enjoyed our stay there.Guest review byJohnUnited States - 10.0
Clayton is amazing!
Clayton is amazing! We only wished that more of the restaurants and coffee shops would’ve been open during the morning hours. Many of them did not open until 4 PM. It did not give us many options for lunch. I was really sad to see that the Christmas store closed! :-(. I will be back to Clayton next year, though! Having dinner at Diprizios’s was the highlight of our eating out! Delicious!Guest review byVictoriaUnited States - 10.0

Ogdensburg is the home of the Fredrick Remington Museum , which is well worth visiting if you like painting and sculpture. The town is located on the south shore of the St Lawrence seaway, which is very scenic and near a bridge to Canada. I was on my way to Quebec City, and stopping in Ogdensburg to visit the museum was well worth the time.Guest review byLindaUnited States - 8.0
It was hot, and Kingston was not planned as a primary stop.
It was hot, and Kingston was not planned as a primary stop. We would have liked to go to the waterfront, as we have done before, and take a boat cruise, followed by dinner. The problem is that it is so busy now and finding a parking space is problematic.Guest review byRobertCanada
