Didn't really know what to expect in Basel but really enjoyed our stay. It is bigger than I expected but the transport network is really efficient and with the Basel card it is free. The place we enjoyed the most was the Zoo - spent all day there - highly recommend it (and it is half price entry with the Basel card). We started with.dinner at Restaurant Fiorentina on the patio overlooking the river. On the morning went to the visitors center on Steinerberg. Downloaded the self guided tour and we were off. Very easy to see the city on foot and was very comfortable on our own touring.Guest review byWeiner - 10.0
Getting around Basel was very easy.
Getting around Basel was very easy. The hotel gave us a free transport card. The tram stopped just outside the hotel. The restaurant at this hotel was great and you will need to go up to the Bar Rouge at the top of the building. (31st floor ) Other restaurants within walking distance. So many lovely places to visit.
