Basel is a wonderful city to explore, and I highly recommend discovering it on foot – the architecture is beautiful and everything is within easy reach. Public transport is excellent: the buses are always on time and very clean. Just make sure to carry some cash with you, as card payments (POS) are not available on buses. A walk along the Rhine riverfront is a must, offering a relaxing and scenic experience. Excellent mobility with clock precision of local transportation and unlimited free access to it for hotel guests visiting city.
