Great communication beforehand, which made getting to the hotel to from the airport very easy. Staff were all super friendly and couldn't help enough with any issues or questions. Room clean, tidy, comfortable and more than adequate. Breakfast to die for 😍 everything from cereals, fruits, juices, breads, cold meats, cheeses, sausages, hummus, salad, eggs (fantastic egg scrambling machine) and even make your own waffles. Basel was a beautiful city. Interesting to see, everyone very friendly. Eating out was great too. Would thoroughly recommend a trip to Basel and definitely stay at the Krafft Basel Hotel. Basel is a wonderful city to explore, and I highly recommend discovering it on foot – the architecture is beautiful and everything is within easy reach. Public transport is excellent: the buses are always on time and very clean. Just make sure to carry some cash with you, as card payments (POS) are not available on buses. A walk along the Rhine riverfront is a must, offering a relaxing and scenic experience.
