We started with.dinner at Restaurant Fiorentina on the patio overlooking the river. On the morning went to the visitors center on Steinerberg. Downloaded the self guided tour and we were off. Very easy to see the city on foot and was very comfortable on our own touring.Guest review byWeiner - 10.0
Getting around Basel was very easy.
Getting around Basel was very easy. The hotel gave us a free transport card. The tram stopped just outside the hotel. The restaurant at this hotel was great and you will need to go up to the Bar Rouge at the top of the building. (31st floor ) Other restaurants within walking distance. So many lovely places to visit. Basel is a modern city, an important economic center. It has many museums and a rich cultural life. The old town is very beautiful. A superficial tourist can "see" it in one day, but those who want to delve deeper can spend several very interesting days there.Guest review byYaronIsrael
