Amazing stay. The views are unbeatable. Room is very comfortable and clean. Plenty of space. The restaurant is very nice and the breakfast is lovely. The staff is unbelievably kind; I forgot an item at the hotel and they were incredibly helpful in making sure I got the item back.

The friendly approach from the four female staff members I encountered: reception, restaurant, breakfast room and housekeeping. Fabulous, large, comfortable room, recently renovated, high ceilings with tall windows on two sides: one with stunning view of mountain which you could almost touch, and the other of a leafy park. There was also a small private balcony. Located right across the street from the railway station, so couldn't be more convenient, yet it was quiet. On this visit I received a welcome voucher for a beverage of choice from the restaurant and a free pass for travel within Glarnerland.The hotel's motto is roughly to make guests feel at home and I certainly felt comfortable at this hotel. The village of Elm, with an interesting story, is just a short bus ride from the hotel. There are other points of interest there too. Research it. Well worth a visit. Supermarkets and other shops are a short stroll from the hotel.

Really nice spot - close to the train station and hiking trails. nice and helpfull staff, room was clean and comfy, and the pub had great Irish beer on tap.
