- From $247.04 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 640 reviewsHotel Seeburg is about a 10 minute bus ride from the main downtown tourist area. The bus stop is immediately in front of the hotel and a local public transportation pass is included with the room. The room was modern and had a Nespresso machine and pods for coffee lovers. The bathroom was very nice with a tub / shower combo and outlets for curling iron or hair dryer. The lake is directly across the road with a large park like area that is actually a restaurant. We had a dinner of pizza and drinks after scanning the QR code on the table and placing our order on the phone. There is a large park area within walking distance, but it's far enough out of down town that you will have to take the bus.Guest review byGaryUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 221 reviewsThe staff who checked us in were so friendly and helpful, booked dinner at restaurant for us, translated the menu, Our corner room had a superb view of the lake and book landing. The room was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The breakfast was in an awesome area that looked out over the lake and was gorgeous. The out door seating for the restaurant was great. Surrounded by lovely areas to walk. Again the staff were some of the most helpful and friendly of out trip. It was just yard from the boat dock and Mt Rigi cogwheel train. Great breakfast variety and menu for dinner.Guest review byKentUnited States

We stayed 4 nights and it wasn’t enough time.
We stayed 4 nights and it wasn’t enough time. I would highly recommend the transportation museum-it’s more like a destination. It’s also free with the Swiss Travel pass. Don’t miss the Lion Monument and Glacier Park that is next to it. Be sure to take a boat ride to relax and enjoy Lake Lucerne and visit Mt. Rigi along the way. Unfortunately, we didn’t get a chance for Mt. Pilatus due to weather-use the weather cams to check out weather at the top of the mountains. The Military Fortress is also a fascinating place to see and marvel at the location in which it was constructed, it might be chilly for some, but they provide coats if needed. So much more to see…next time!Guest review byLindaUnited States - 8.0

Ok so, Weggis is a beautiful little village but that is also it's problem, it's a little village. Activities were limited and so were the restaurants. I would recommended staying there as a "base" but then exploring the surrounding attractions.Guest review byMirhea AbdillaMalta - 10.0

Sursee is a stunningly beautiful town with charming old houses, a picturesque Old Town, excellent restaurants, a castle, a creek, and nearby lake. As a family, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. What made it truly special were the incredibly welcoming and kind people. We felt at home right away and would love to return. Highly recommended!Guest review byMichaelSwitzerland - 10.0

I received an upgrade from a mountain view room to a lake view room, which I appreciated very much. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Hotel Rigi Vitznau to anyone visiting Vitznau.Guest review byAlvinSouth Africa - 10.0
Gorgeous city, extremely clean, and wonderfully kind culture...
Gorgeous city, extremely clean, and wonderfully kind culture. The food is fantastic and the language is beautiful. We brought our small children of 5 and 7 and the Swiss culture is very family oriented and children friendly, often prioritizing to ensure they are entertained at meals with crayons and coloring paper. The scenery is unlike anything you will ever see and the beauty is indescribable. So many places to visit and things to do. Not to mention the transportation methods are extremely convenient and free so long as the tax is paid within the city.Guest review byKirschner - 10.0
Booked room with a mountain view.
Booked room with a mountain view. However, on reaching the property, upgraded to Lake view at a cost of CHF 20 per day. Room had amazing view of Lake and hills. Property is located in Weggis and is easily accessible from Boat and bus ( Frequency of 30mins to 60mins). Town is very peaceful and one can enjoy beautiful walk around the lake. Property has fitness centre, spa and swimming pool which are maintained properly. Had an amazing experience staying at this property.Guest review byDiveshIndia - 10.0
If you are umming and ahhing about going, just go.
If you are umming and ahhing about going, just go. I've seen a review saying it was crowded, but October 2023 it was not, it was very quiet so if you want a bustling vibe it's not for you! I think in summer it may be more of a popular spot.Guest review byLauraNew Zealand - 10.0

As long as you’re prepared for the cost of food and drinks it’s wonderful. We stayed four nights, and did a couple of day tours which were great. It meant we didn’t see as much in the actual city as we could have. A good reason to visit again.Guest review byAnneAustralia - 10.0
The views of the mountains around the lake are fantastic.
The views of the mountains around the lake are fantastic. We ate in our hotel on both nights of our stay and the food and wine were fabulous. You can walk alongside the lake and there are several places to eat. We visited Mount Rigi which was busy but the 360 view at the top was wonderful. We went up in a cable car then railway then had an easy walk back down to the cable car stationGuest review byJulieUnited Kingdom
