    EVERYTHING. From the time they picked us up at the Zermatt station until they dropped us back everything was exceptional. Very hospitable staff, amazing hotel, great breakfast, the best rooms during our stay across Switzerland. Powerful air conditioned rooms unlike rest of Switzerland (we were lucky as Switzerland was going through a massive heatwave). The bar in the ground floor, the swimming pool, the bed and the bathroom/toilet were very well planned. Will surely be returning

    We loved our spacious room and if you leaned over the balcony you could see the Matterhorn. The staff was extremely welcoming to usabd our 2 dogs, delicious breakfast and we loved their kindness to let us use their spa ( after check out) once we came back from a very long hike .     Unless you are a dedicated hiker we think one and half to two days is enough time to spend there. We had already been up four mountain peaks in Switzerland so we were more interested in the area than going up another peak. Others with difference experience may have a view.

    Ok for skiing and mountain biking but not recommended for hiking (numerous paths closed, very steep, signage could be better, crossing paths with downhill mountain bikers too often). There are better options for hiking in Switzerland

    The prices are much more reasonable than in Zermatt, and it is practically the last village you can reach by car. So in my opinion it is very good to sleep in Täsch and travel by train to Zermatt. The trains are every 20 minutes.

    It's a very cool place.

    It's a very cool place. We only stayed one night but enjoyed our stay. We took the cable car from the top of the mountain after having walked from the Hotel Schwarenbach. Make sure to bring your Visa card as everything is expensive. That's not a complaint, it's just the reality of a tourist, mountain town. We went to the thermal baths and that was fun. We stayed at the Hotel Waldhaus. Highly recommended as well.

    Brig was truly a hidden gem!

    Brig was truly a hidden gem! We stayed at Hotel Victoria, directly across from the train station - which we loved. The main part of the city was really close and in walking distance. Great shops and resturants and gelato shops. They have a little train that goes around the city and gives you another perspective. It was perfect! There was a historic castle with tour. Unfortunately, the tour was in German, but we enjoyed it.

    Sion is the capital of the Canton of Valais in southwestern Switzerland. It's a city rich in history and serves as a gateway to the Alps, with easy access to popular ski resorts like Crans-Montana and Verbier, as well as a wide range of hiking trails. It is also well known for its wine. If you travel around this area, you will see a lot of vineyards. The city is charming, surrounded by mountains with old building still being occupied and nice cafés and restaurants everywhere.     Amazing location and view, very quiet and clean (no cars...

    Amazing location and view, very quiet and clean (no cars allowed in the village). Lots of hiking trails and activities to do. Very nice restaurants. Sometimes it was hard to find the hiking trails and understand their difficulty and lengths. Maybe more signs would make it easier

    Very beautiful area with shops & restaurants within walking distance of the hotel we stayed in (elite). Bus trip up into the mountain villages was excellent & very reasonable priced. Lots of nice restaurants in Visp. Local wines worth a try.

    Fiesch is located very centrally in Uber Wallis.

    Fiesch is located very centrally in Uber Wallis. The perfect base to organize your trips from. Locally you have the Cable car to Fiescher-Alp and Eggishorn. Several walks of 5 to 10 Km loops are passing in Fiesch. In less than a one-hour drive, you can reach the passes Grimsel, Furka, Simplon, and Gottart. Close by you can also find Binn which is a great spot for 1-day hikes on a higher altitude. Fiesch has all the shops you could need. Fuel and resto are a bit cheaper than in the big cities. I loved it!
