This is a hidden gem, the owner, staff, hotel, restaurant, room and location were fantastic!! We are so glad that we found this and Daniele Vergani is the best host you will ever meet, he takes great pride in making everything perfect for his guest!! Really special location with amazing history. Myra at the front desk on Monday evening was super nice and helpful and the Italian lady (forgot the name) in the morning was very knowledgeable and pleasant.

Rooms are modest, but clean, cozy and welcoming. Fabulous location right on the river. Restaurant on site with good pasta and a nice, simple breakfast offering. The hosts are super kind and helpful. Also, a convenient bus stop right in front of the hotel, and we were given a bus pass for the duration of our stay. Lots of beautiful hikes to different villages leaving right from the hotel.

The view was spectacular! The small garden was inviting and homely, and the owners were very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious, and the guest rooms were beautifully designed and spotlessly clean. I especially appreciated how they preserved the original elements of the house while incorporating just the right amount of modern comfort. Thank you! We are definitely planning on coming back.
