I’ve been all around the world and I must say that this hotel is one of my top favorites. The staff is top notch - proactive, professional and caring. What is more the hotel is really pet friendly in the room we found bed and bowls prepared for our dog, which was a pleasant surprise. The area is quiet, rooms are comfortable, spacious and clean. Wellness area was perfect - cameral, we had it almost for ourselves. Breakfasts are excellent with variety of food to choose. I truly recommend and hope to be back soon!

The hotel seems brand new, parking spots can be reserved before arrival. Staff is super friendly. Rooms are big, family room consists of a single room with its own bathroom and a double room with its own bathroom as well. Beds are super comfortable and everything is new and functional. Rooms are towards the main street, but not too much traffic during the night. Breakfast was great as well as dinner. Short walk to the train station to go to Zermatt. They have a partner hotel in Zermatt and the guests are allowed to use the SPA facilities there as well.

We had an excellent stay at the Schloss. From the perfect location in front of the train station to the top-class spa, friendly and attentive staff, delicious breakfasts and tea time, and the pleasant atmosphere in the living room and common areas—everything was wonderful.     Perfect! Just got back our month long honeymoon and this was our favourite hotel we stayed in. We were in the Matterhorn Junior Suite and it was just gorgeous, so comfortable and cosy but spacious. Nice view of the Matterhorn. A bit obstructed by the building in front BUT that didn’t really take away from the view, just made the room feel more private. Room service food was excellent, included breakfast was great and service overall was fantastic. Couldn’t fault the location, central to pretty much everything. Room was a bit warm the first night but we were advised to open a window which we did, no issues after that. Great for the environment! Booked massages and used the spa a few times, so relaxing and everything you need at all times is provided including refreshments, extra towels, etc. Will 100% be staying here again if we come back.

    The attention from the staff was amazing. They gave us a lot of tips, were helpful and nice. They even spoke Spanish which was very convenient to our family. The hotel was great and beautiful both inside and the views outside. The rooms were super clean, wirh enough space for 4 people, free coffee, minibar and a fridge. They stored our luggage and took it to the room when it became available while we were exploring Zermatt. Beautiful location and super close to the train station. They even have a shuttle service which was very helpful for all our heavy luggage and older people. Breakfast was included and it was overall good like a continental breakfast

    Unless you are a dedicated hiker we think one and half to two days is enough time to spend there. We had already been up four mountain peaks in Switzerland so we were more interested in the area than going up another peak. Others with difference experience may have a view.

    The prices are much more reasonable than in Zermatt, and it is practically the last village you can reach by car. So in my opinion it is very good to sleep in Täsch and travel by train to Zermatt. The trains are every 20 minutes.

    Very nice aan idyllic place if you like to relax and hike. Great place to roam around and visit other places from there. Zermatt was a bit disappointing, but it was also off season. Nice for an afternoon, but beter to stay in Randa.

    Our experience of Blatten was amazing!

    Our experience of Blatten was amazing! We were blown out by this little gem! We went up the cable car, had some drinks, came down and some more by the restaurant across the street. From our cabin we walked down to a restaurant and had a food experience of a lifetime!

    Great little village with no cars, only small electric vehicles. Great food, good shopping and stunning views of then Matterhorn. Nice to walk the streets with no worry of traffic. There was a small group of older local musicians dressed in traditional clothing who played at a location and then moved on to another location to play. Great to hear their little authentic accordions.

    Great option for being affordable if wanting to visit Zermatt. A trains runs between the two cities every 20 minutes which makes travel easy. Not much in Täsch in terms of shopping/restaurants so keep that in mind before leaving Zermatt.

    Unfortunately there was heavy cloud cover the two days I was there and didn’t see the Matterhorn at all. Web cams at top showed nothing so didn’t go up. Gornergrat trip was worthwhile and good views of everything except the Matterhorn.i enjoyed walking round the old town. The Too Good to Go app was great for providing me with evening meals.

    Täsch turned out to be much bigger than we first expected!

    Täsch turned out to be much bigger than we first expected! It’s a very cute little town with a great location—just 12 minutes by train from Zermatt. A lovely and convenient place to stay if you're exploring the area.
