I remember passing by this hotel in Zurich and being amazed at its location. I purposely booked a room to experience the hotel and its location this time. It exceeded my expectations. The hotel is 2 minutes from the Famous Paradaplatz, allowing for multiple choices for transit use, and the famous Bahnhofstrasse with its high-end shops and cafes. The hotel is also located in the city's old section, making walking in any weather enjoyable. It is also within walking distance of Lake Zurich, Bellevueplatz, Train Station, and Zurich's old, cobblestone streets. This place is at the heart of it all, with the price tag of other hotels nearby. The room was great. Due to the heavy rain on this trip, I utilized the room more than usual. I loved that the room included fresh fruit on the table, a big bottle of mineral water and a personalized note welcoming me. This was a pleasant and unexpected treat—a lovely touch and enough to want me to return. There is also a hot beverage machine with complimentary coffee and tea. I could make myself comfortable sitting back and relaxing while watching a movie thanks to the TV Chromecast allowing direct streaming from my phone to the TV. The staff was excellent!! The front desk person, Crazy-nails (you know who you are), helped me check-in. She was delightful and put a smile on my face. Very friendly and social. It made me feel more like a good friend than a paying guest. It was a very refreshing change after a tough week.

    I recently stayed at this accommodation in Zurich from September 22-23, 2025, and had a great experience. The place was well-equipped with basic amenities, allowing me to prepare my own meals. Additional features included digital WiFi television and comfortable spaces for work and relaxation. Its proximity to supermarkets was also a plus. The self-check-in and check-out process was smooth and well-planned, eliminating the need for manual assistance. To further enhance the experience, I suggest providing an instruction guide in English for guests to navigate the self-check-in process. Given its convenient location near the airport and business centers in Zurich, I highly recommend this facility. It offers an ideal blend of comfort and accessibility for both business and leisure travelers.

    Overall the cuisine quality in this hotel is exceptional with a great location both in terms of lake view, access and also proximity to City. A lovely small park just next to it, if you have a small kid. Facilities in the hotel is very modern, clean and well maintained. One of my top 3 hotels so far , i have been to probably more than 100 hotels. One special shout out to the staff. Service quality in Switzerland even for high end restaurants & hotels can be terrible sometimes. Service staff somehow can be entitled and may act rather rude around the country. So the Swiss hospitality is only a marketing gimmick in many occasions but not for this hotel. Lovely and friendly people. Very relatable and also professional at the same time. 11 over 10...

    Everything was great, the room was very nice, it even had an iron and an ironing board. I ended up staying here completely by chance, as there were no reasonably priced hotels left in Zurich, and I definitely made the right choice by booking a hotel near the airport.     Fred's Hotel was next to the railway station and opposite the bus station. This enabled us to travel to Zurich by train and walk to the hotel. Several restaurants are also conveniently located in this area. The close proximity of the bus station enabled us to participate in 2 excellent sight seeing tours without any hassles. Zurich is an elegant and cultural city surrounded by high mountains and beautiful country side.

    This stay was disappointing because of room issues.

    This stay was disappointing because of room issues. When one arrives after a long overseas flight, I expect and need nice accommodations. This time the Radisson disappointed. Room was small, drapery was drooping, trash in bathroom from previous guest and clean but shabby duvet cover. I would not complain but this room was supposed to have been an upgraded purchase by me then the hotel supposedly upgraded my upgrade. Not an upgrade in any way. Very disappointed.

    It is close to the air port and hence with tram you reach the airport without any taxi service and you enter the check in area and if you arrive after plane landing , the stop is at the airport and reach the hotel at the second stop called Unterriiet Glattburg

    My wife and I would have loved to enjoy Zurich but we only used the airport for arrival and departure. We rented a car to enjoy Switzerland and I can tell you that the roads were nice and well documented. We also found the airport to be efficient and the staff very friendly.

    Very convenient to visit Zurich (10 mins to the main station by train and trains and 15 mins to Zurich airport by bus/tram). All public means of transport are on-time, reliable, and very often. Shops, restaurants, bakeries - all within a walking distance.

    From outside the Hotel looks a bit run down. But from inside it is just like a 5 star hotel. Neat and clean with a very helpful and friendly staff. Easy to locate it and many nice restaurants at a walking distance .Free Parking is a bonus. It is not airconditioned but offers fan which is of great help
