- From US$173.48 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 2,140 reviewsEverything. Its beautiful. The staff are next level fabulous and so caring helpful and attentive. Friendly but also professional. Papa Tom is so awesome. Reception and check in were also so lovely. We ate in the jalapeño restaurant for dinner and the food and service was amazing. The food at the restaurant is some of the yummiest food ever. The wahu fish in coconut cream and salsa was delicious beautifully cooked tender, fragrant and satisfying. I absolutely love it here and i would feel myself very fortunate to have the opportunity to stay here again. The setting by the ocean is stunning and the gardens and rooms beautifully appointed. Ive never stayed here before and we had only our last night in rarotonga here but its been a dream come true. I can’t believe ive never stayed here before. Feel really special and cared for. Thank you to your amazing team. At the end of the day it is the staff that make the experience for anyone staying here really amazing. Thank you. I feel very grateful to have been fortunate to stay at club raro. Stunning as the wild ginger and frangipanis that scent the entire complex. GorgeousGuest review byPetersonNew Zealand
- From US$234.75 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 452 reviewsAbsolutely loved having beach access right there and the view is absolutely stunning. A nice, small hotel that makes you feel you have the place to yourself at times. Located close enough to Muri Lagoon but without the noise of families and tourist activities. Except for the occasional beach walker, the beach area was used exclusively by hotel guests. Room was clean and well appointed, friendly hotel staff and a bonus having a restaurant on site.Guest review byWanitaCanada

A beautiful little hotel with great views over the lagoon. The staff were really friendly and helpful. The food was amazing too. Location wise it could not have been better for us with plenty of amenities near to hand with choices to eat out as well. It was great to have free use of all the beach wear from sea shoes, snorkels, etcGuest review byPETERUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 193 reviewsThe location couldn’t be more perfect, the western side of the island is perfectly protected by wind and so close to the reef edge you get such a close up experience with the whales. The accomodation is impeccably clean and run by the friendliest staff. Highly recommend booking a beachfront suite, it truly feels like a private beach just for you.Guest review bySallyAustralia

The location was perfect. 24 hour fuel, food, liquor right across the street. The bungalow right on the beach, the deck was perfect for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening. I'll be back.Guest review byRonCanada

Rarotonga is a wonderful place for a peaceful family holiday. We especially enjoyed the fresh sushi (tuna) available at the many small eateries around the island, Taco Tues for Fresh Parrot Fish (soft) Tacos at Kai & Co and the awesome snorkelling and swimming everywhere. Saturday market is also a must visit as was Capt. Tamas and also to get in an island night dinner/show. If you want flexibility, highly recommend you consider hiring a car or bike to allow you to fully explore and stop as you wish.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Beautiful area where you can get to everything simply by driving. Shipwreck hut in Araroa. Aorangi fish / chips. Palace burgers. Rarotonga bakery. Would highly recommend @Tumutours across the road for an authentic cultural experience, combined with delicious food and entertainment.Guest review byTuiNew Zealand - 10.0

Had a great time, I worked when there was no wind and went kite boarding when there was. The beaches there are beautiful with three different locations for kiting and a whole island if your not. for kiting, depending on wind direction, any one of them is an awesome place to kite. If you don't kite and you just want an awesome holiday near a beautiful beach, I couldn't recommend it more. Other islands within the Cook Islands offer great options, but cost more. If budget is an issue, then there is plenty to do on Raro and you will still experience the beauty of the tropical islands.Guest review byJasonAustralia - 10.0
Reflection is a beautiful and relaxing stay.
Reflection is a beautiful and relaxing stay. You have options to cool down from a beautiful private pool or the ocean within a few steps from your doors. Weather was not on my side but that did not stop me from having the best swim ever. I highly recommend this place.Guest review byMrs FataiNew Zealand - 10.0

Beautiful clear beaches with beautiful sunsets to go with it. The water is so clear, you can see the Coral as clear as day. Absolutely calming and stunning! Wonderful place. Lovely people. Great beaches.
Wonderful place. Lovely people. Great beaches. A good place to chill out after seeing the sites of Raro. Good snorkelling and swimming 🏊♀️. Bus's around the island if you don't want to hire a car. A day trip to Aitutaki is a must do.Guest review byLorelleAustralia - 8.0
This is a good area, it's not to busy with tourist.
This is a good area, it's not to busy with tourist. You might feel your left out from all the fun places. But if you have your own transport or you don't mind using the public transport then your not far from anything at all. Your on the right side of the island for the sunset, go next door and have a drink at the resort bar on the beach while the sun sets in front of you.Guest review byMiro - 10.0

Beautiful beaches, just be mindful not to swim on Saturdays as it is their Sabbath day (head to Nikau beach on that day 😊) Wigmores is a few minutes away, cheap ice cream and donuts, hot meals too. Bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper, the roosters love to serernade the place all day long lolGuest review byStephenAustralia - 10.0
Absolute gem.
Absolute gem. After our last few trips to Bali and Lombok dealing with noise/traffic/pollution, we wanted a more authentic holiday location and felt we would be stuck in a resort all week if we went to Fiji. Rarotonga isn't a tourist hotspot yet and that suited us perfectly. People were friendly, transport was simple enough and it's a beautiful island with a proud culture on display. There are limitations based on the location, so no fresh milk and limited produce options, but for what they have they do great and being able to walk off the beach almost anywhere on the island and snorkel in clear and clean water with amazing sea life on display was well worth it. If you want cheap and nasty go to Bali, but if you want to experience local culture and life in the Pacific then I would highly recommend Raro.Guest review byIntisAustralia
