The Location was excellent, close to all attraction and central of Wulingyuan town. The hotel is new and facilities are good. The rooms are a sanctuary of peace and comfort, and the friendly staff made my stay delightful. They were also able to speak English and helped us to book tickets for the Park, Glass Bridge. A perfect blend of relaxation and nice trip in Zhangjiajie.

A very beautiful little Hotel right next to the Park Entrance. Perfect place to start your Hikes. The host Anthony is English speaking and very welcoming, he helped us to book tickets and recommended suitable routes through the park and took the time to chat with us every night over a beer or two and telling us about Zhangjiajie. The Rooms are large and newly decorated, everything from Beds to Bathrooms are brand new. There are several restaurants along the road in short walking distance. I can't think of a better place to stay if you want to visit Wulingyuan. Great Value. Highly recommended.

The location is absolutely perfect, quite close to the Tianzi mountain cablecar, Yuanjiajie and Yangjiajie. Gorgious view on the mountains and the tea plantations, it is very quiet (the silence is absolute), away from the crowds, it is peace of heaven. You can take a walk around easily, no tourists are there, only local people. The house caretakers are very welcoming, super kind, always helpful, always available to accomodate you as much as possible. The food is delicious, the products are organic and local, and you can definitely tell (the eggs, the chicken, the mushrooms have an incredible taste) ! The bed are very comfy, I slept like a baby. +++: they adopted little puppies the day I was living. They are so cute, I am in love <3

The hotel has an amazing location, in the middle of the mountains, located closely to the Middle Gate of the national park. Rooms are wonderful and so is the pool, which gives you the ultimate holiday vibes. The staff is incredibly friendly and immediately welcome you like a friend. My stay at this hotel was an incredible experience — if there were a better word than "incredible," I would definitely use it. The hotel manager, Mr. Jack, was a very respectful and polite man. Throughout our stay, he was attentive, and whenever we had an issue, he resolved it promptly. He even sent a gift to our room and made sure we were in complete comfort at all times. The room was very spacious, clean, and equipped with everything one might need. From the window, there was a stunning view of the city and its towers. The room temperature was perfect. The breakfast was excellent, varied, and of high quality, mainly consisting of delicious Chinese cuisine. The hotel was in a fantastic location in the city center, with easy access to the metro, which was less than a 10-minute walk away. This made getting to tourist attractions very convenient. The hotel was also easily reachable from the train station by metro. The management provided us with very detailed and precise directions on how to reach the hotel from the station. The hotel staff were very kind and professional. I am truly grateful to the entire hotel team, especially Mr. Jack, for making our stay so memorable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I will definitely return on my future visits. Don’t forget that Changsha is a dreamy city, and you should never miss seeing Orange Island at night.

The hotel is within a 10-minute walking distance of Zhangjiajie National Forest Park (Wulingyuan entrance), which is extremely convenient. We got a free room upgrade when we got there and the staff was extremely helpful. They asked us how many days we planned on visiting the park (which was 1 day) and they talked us through an entire route we could take to make the most of our day. They also provided us with a map and helped us book our entrance tickets. We literally saw the entire park during this one day. It was perfect. They also offer free usage of washing machines, which we desperately needed. The breakfast was ok. The room was quite spaceous, really comfortable and had a nice bath and bidet toilet. Would definitely stay here again!

I liked the brilliant way the hotelier provides the guests with all the logistics information to see all the beauty in the park. As many as 13 steps on a map - bus connections and pass set up, cable tram connections, where to walk point A to point B. Timed to get you back to the home stay for a heathly evening meal. Arranged a car to take me to see to see the Zhangjiajie cave and then to the train stations. China never disappoints.

    A very unique place to be. A must visit place. We loved it even though we can’t read Chinese and speak a little only. We enjoyed our very short time there. Even in the rain it was great fun. Wear waterproof trainers when it’s rainy season as your feet will get wet and it can be slippery with the wrong footwear.

    City with very friendly people from the hotel, the Metro and the tourist places. We loved the Orange Island and the photos we took will always give us memories. The food was not any different from ours back home but it was more tasty. It was easy for us to get around using the metro and taxis.

    Stunning!

    Stunning! our 2nd favorite natural attraction in China, 2nd only to Huangshan Mountain. lots of great trails with exceptional views of a singular landscape. we stayed inside the park at YOLO hotel, which made access very easy. fortunately, transportation inside the park is shuttle bus only, they run frequently, and there's no congestion from private autos like you get at Yosemite. there's a big focus on "Avatar", but that is only one pillar of hundreds. Zhangjiajie is like Arizona's Grand Canyon except in a temperate rain forest, and on a more intimate scale, plus there are no incessant helicopters or mule feces.

    Great place to be!

    Great place to be! The cost of food and everything is noticeably cheaper compared to the major cities of china. High recommend it if you are a night owl, this city never sleeps and is great for grabbing a drink and late night meal. There are also alot of hidden gems up in the mountains.

    Amazing place.

    Amazing place. My focus was in the nature and zhangjiajie definitely delivered. Everything went super smoothly, but couple didi drivers tried to scam more money by adding extra fees in the app. Luckily didi customer service was good and got it fixed. Besides that small thing everything else was 10/10 for me, i strongly recommend visiting.

    The view of the river is so majestic, both during the day and the night! For women, the traditional attire rental is something everyone should try. The booking for Hanfu and Mao clothing are not available online though, but its everywhere once you are in the town.

    Although large population, residents are provincial. Lacks the charm of other cities. Entry into downtown area nearly impossible. Traffic unbelievable. Only one entry into main area. Left earlier than anticipated because of the nature of the city. Couldn't be bothered to see more.
