- From $202.82 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Excellent - What previous guests thought, 538 reviewsBoth dinner and breakfast were amazing. The hotel was right next to a 30-minute walk/hike to a breathtaking waterfall. Our tour guide to the waterfall was a dog named Sol who accompanied us the whole way and was mindful of our safety. The staff was very courteous and mindful of our needs and we need to thank Pablo for all the recommendations that he gave us. The facilities are wonderful, it's extremely peaceful, and unlike other glamping places, this is actually a family friendly hotel without parties, late-night drinking, or loud guests as we've seen in other hotels. It's a 10-minute drive to the Valle del Cocora where you can go on horseback riding and other activities. Definitely would recommend, if possible and if we're around again, we'll definitely come back.Guest review byValeryColombia

Very nice friendly city! Like Every city has the good and the bad areas. My favorite sports were Pinares de Sant Martin, los álamos, Cerritos Getting around Pereira is easy Going out of he city to termales Santarrosa de cabal , to Salento el Parker del cafe ( coffee park ) this places are very close to Pereira and go for long walk , and enjoy The nice green view of the mountains !!Guest review byLuz - 10
Beautiful small town nested in the Coffee growing region.
Beautiful small town nested in the Coffee growing region. Great location to explore around other towns, and the famous Cocora Valley. I am not sure if Salento or Filandia was used as the inspiration for Encanto (the movie). Calle Real in Salento is full of small arts and crafts stores and plenty of restaurants to choose from. We spent 2 night there and thought it was the right amount of time. We ate dinner at El Patio which had live music, good food and service. Had lunch at Casa Willy’s (jeep) great food and good service too. You can walk around and it is very safe. My only recommendation is try not to drive into Salento at night, very dark, narrow road with tons of sharp curves, this drive at night is only for people experienced in driving in Colombia. Driving there at daylight is not an issue.Guest review byAlexanderUnited States - 10
Awesome city. Amazing and friendly people.
Awesome city. Amazing and friendly people. Lots of places to visit and have fun. Many activities, attractions to find out and enjoy. Food is always fresh, clean and great tasting. Safety is a priority. We can walk at any time with no problems and or fear. Public transportation and platform are available and it is cheap. Visit Manizales and experience a great adventure.Guest review byMarthuchaUnited States - 2.0

The nature is nice reception is nice, rooms are extremely smelly to chemicals and mold, very small hardly space to move around no place to leave even small luggage, unhelpful staff, my hole family got sick from the smell they didn’t offer options, we spend the hole day trying to get an alternative finally we had to leave the hotel at midnight with no place to go. As it was impossible to sleep in the smelly room. wasted our time going there is definitely not worth the money and is a health hazard.Guest review byFrancyUnited Arab Emirates - 10
Most importantly clean, and felt safe with my family.
Most importantly clean, and felt safe with my family. The hotel was beautiful and affordable. The staff was great, and helpful. The only cons were the air conditioning didn’t work while we were there, which is common, and the menu would have gotten old if our stay was longer, but still delicious. The bar and bar staff were great as well. I’d definitely recommend it if you’re planning a trip to this area.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0

Filandia is a very nice town, with attractive architecture, good restaurants, and good people. Among the good restaurants, we liked "Casa /bohio Taino" and "Elena Adentro" an amazing place to eat and have good drinks.Guest review byFelipeUnited States - 8.0
This is an area that is absolutely beautiful to explore.
This is an area that is absolutely beautiful to explore. If you are to stay in this location be prepared to bring your own food for making meals. We errored in not thinking ahead and the distance to a grocery store is long with curvy roads. If you have entomophobia this is not the place to be. We saw some marvelous butterflies, and huge roaches and even had an Aguti in the backyard. Our family enjoyed the warm weather, swam in the pool, and had a very enjoyable vacation. Within an hour's ride, there is an amusement park, zoo, and next door an interactive ranch with shows, and animals to interact with.Guest review byLanaUnited States - 10

Victor meet us upon arrival with a beautiful smile and made us feel very welcome. The home is absolutely beautiful, private, well maintained. The pool was clean, as well as all the outside amenities. We really enjoyed a night time swim and even placed some water basketball. Victor's aunt lives on property and was a very pleasant lady and treated us very well. You can tell that Victor wants only the best for his guests. Take note that La Dorada is has a very hot climate and only the master bedroom is air conditioned. But has excellent fans through out the entire house. Which was fine for us being from Florida USA. We saw a lot of the town and believe that staying here is the best of all options. We know you will agree should you decide to make this your home while in this city.Guest review byMARTINUnited States - 2.0
The town is not ready to take any type of tourists.
The town is not ready to take any type of tourists. No decent restaurants, no heath facility, many places don’t take US dollars neither credit cards. No bank facilities during the weekends. No tourist attractions, dirt on the street many unpaved roads. Lack of sidewalks, no rental car services.Guest review byGustavo - 10

The city is growing, there are good quality restaurants and nightlife, the people are friendly and there is not people honking their horns constantly like in Medellín, it has a cooler climate. Very nice.Guest review byChristopherCanada
