We were greeted every morning by some birds on top of our cabin, and could see and hear all kinds of wildlife from the deck overlooking the lake. Special mention for the lovely cats running around the property and coming to greet us!
The hotel staff provided special vegan options for breakfast every morning, which were absolutely lovely and tasty, and which was well above our expectations. Also a big thank you for allowing us to check in at a very late time at night and staying up late especially to accomodate us, very much appreciated!
Driving distance from La Fortuna and many surrounding activities and touristic locations, the cabins are located outside of the touristic area in a beautiful and quiet place.

BrazilEverything was amazing. The view is stunning, Wendy and Roger are very nice hosts and super friendly. The dome is abolutely perfect, it has a good size for a couple, hot shower, comfortable bed and a mini kitchen with coffee machine. We higly recommend it!

Our trip was mostly rejuvenation, health and to access the volcano and hot springs. We went to Arenal park and hiked the trail to the Volcano. We saw a Capibara but most other wildlife is best viewed in the early morning. There were a lot of orchids in bloom along the trails. Going to EcoTermales Hotspring was the highlight. It's a gorgeous naturally constructed spa with layered pools, waterfalls all built with stacked granite rockery, bridges and pathways connect the pools, and there's plenty of seating, an open bar that serves the best mixed drinks. The restaurant served fresh healthy assortment of seafood and meats with veggie dishes with dessert at Lunch. The water was fed from the natural hotspring, which was circulated , refreshed constantly with fresh volcanic water. Attention to the holistic elements of nature were throughout. Not convenient for La Fortuna.
Not convenient for La Fortuna. It was a 20 min windy road drive each way. Nuevo Arenal was really noisy with dirt bikes and cars driving through. City has little to offer as far as food and entertainment.Guest review bytravisUnited States - 8.0

The town is beautiful and located in a beautiful lush area. There are cute little restaurants and sodas. The locals were very friendly.
