The hotel is new, everything works perfectly, and the design is both stylish and thoughtful. The room was spacious—exactly like in the photos, if not better. Unlike many hotels that use wide-angle shots to make tiny rooms appear larger, this is not the case here. The room was actually bigger than it looked online. Every detail in the room felt carefully considered—from the lighting to the storage space. It’s clear that someone truly thought about guest comfort rather than just throwing things together. The room was also very quiet, with excellent blackout curtains for a good night's sleep. The bed was incredibly comfortable—the mattress was excellent, and I slept wonderfully every night. The location is fantastic—surrounded by cafes and restaurants, with a supermarket just a 5-minute walk away. For the quality of the hotel, the pricing is incredibly reasonable. The staff are outstanding—extremely friendly, genuinely eager to help, fluent in English, and ready to resolve any issue quickly and professionally. The breakfast buffet was excellent: hot, tasty, varied, and conveniently available from 7 to 10 AM. I came here for work, and the hotel is so well-equipped that you could easily spend your entire stay inside if needed. There’s also a lunch and dinner buffet, and the hotel restaurant serves delicious food. If you need to get to the Marina, it’s only a 5-minute drive. Platres is one of my favourite mountain villages in Cyprus. it has a lovely vibe and many restaurants and cafes to choose from. I recommend Pendeli Hotel for a luxurious stay or forest park if looking for a very budget friendly stay. Petit Palais is one of the oldest hotels in the square and is loved by locals and tourists. EnPlatron is one of my favourite Taverns offering great traditional dishes and live music on weekends. Kaledonia Tavern is also a favourite local tavern so make sure to give it a try Cleopatra Bistro is a favourite for modern dining and deserts and beverages. So amazing to still be able to find genuinely authentic remote villages without them being so commercialised. I felt like I had travelled to a completely different world. We love Omodos as a stay over place ie one night. The village is beautiful with a lot of history. In my opinion it’s one of the nicest villages in Cyprus. Full of history too with a small free museum that is extremely interesting. The village is small so you can walk around it in a very short time and it’s so beautiful you really should walk around. For night life, most restaurants and the bakers close around 6.30pm ish. There are a couple of places that open til midnight on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Agros village is a perfect place to escape from busy city life for a couple of days and to enjoy the tranquility of traditional village lifestyle, walk the narrow streets, with beautiful , authentic architecture, meet locals, try local food and of course to recharge yourself with nature and mountain sceneries. Potamitissa itself doesn’t have things to do. However, villages such as Pelendri, Agros, Kyperounta are near by and have plenty of things to do.
