- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very Good - What previous guests thought, 2,144 reviews1. The cats! There are sooo many cats at the hotel (maybe don't choose here if you're alergic). 2. The apartment - we had a ground floor appt, bedroom + livingroom & fully functional kitchen, with a big terrace, with a mandarin tree and several cats that slept on our terrace. Blackout curtains. Great AC (used it for heating). 3. Quite area - no traffic, not much noise (this was in December) 4. Indoor heated pool. 5. Staff - nice and smiling, always. 6. Location - 10 min walk to a beautiful sandy beach (that also has big free parking, toilets and showers). 25 min walk on the promenade to harbor or 8 min by car. 7. Food was great for the price, always something to like (half board). 8. New Years Eve - included in booking rate. 9. Good wifi. 10. Free parking, always available. 11. Nearby - a few restaurants, laundromat, a small shop.Guest review byMarianaRomania
- From $234.81 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very Good - What previous guests thought, 4,460 reviewsWe loved everything! Very friendly, helpful and accommodating staff (receptionists and breakfast staff). Very spacious and clean rooms. Nice and clean pool. Lots of space between sun beds. Right next to beach with a 5 min walk to a better beach (by Antasia hotel). Good breakfast with lots of choice. Very quiet premises all around. Loved the board walk for walks in the morning and in the evening. Great spot for sunset watching. Lots of restaurants close by. Underground parking lot, so you car stays cool. We would definitely recommend Amphora and stay there again.Guest review byFreddieFrance
- From $950.98 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 337 reviewsAll was perfect! Facility, Service, food, especially beach! The little stones (not sand) of the water entry is superb, never seen anything like this before, they are so soft and massage your leg when entering the water. The water quality of 10 out of 10, so clean and can see through. Also, during my visit I stayed in other hotels and locations across Cyprus as I travelled all across. I stayed in those with same room rate but much worse. Anassa is a great choice! And located in Athrodite Baths natural park. So no nearby hotels.Guest review byNazar TalibdjanovKazakhstan
- From $392.13 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 3,724 reviewsThe entire stay was very pleasant. We went there to have our wedding ceremony and the entire hotel staff made sure the service and experience was second to none. Anything we required was at our disposal, the wedding planner Hajni and her team were impeccable at their work, our venue and staff were the best I witnessed thus far, the food was excellent. The stay at the hotel was more than we could have imagined. We will definitely be back.Guest review byMartinCroatia

It is a beautiful location and you can swim (ocean) just off the pier in front of hotel. Absolutely loved it. The half board option is well worth it -the food is incredible with a very large selection. And I cannot speak highly enough of the staff - Really genuine kind hard working people. Wonderful atmosphere -made a big impression. Highly recommended.Guest review byJoanneIreland

It's a nice place, the people are very friendly, the bars offer Cypriot breakfast, which is worth having. There are not too many tourists in September, so it is pleasant to walk around the city. The only information about city buses could be written more transparently, the stations should also be marked in English, and it should also be clearly stated on the bus via loudspeaker or on a board which station we are approaching - many tourists are confused because this is not the case.Guest review byleaSlovenia - 8.0
Polis is a nice place to spend a couple of days.
Polis is a nice place to spend a couple of days. There are some good restaurants and bars in the center of the town, serving nice traditional dishes in good prices. Nearby Latsi beach is well organised, offering all the amenities someone can expect (lifeguard, changing rooms, toilets). Polis can be used as the base for exploring the area and particularly Akamas peninsula. Highly recommended to 1st time visitors to the island!Guest review byDimitrisCyprus - 10.0

Neo Chorio and the surrounding areas with Akamas National...
Neo Chorio and the surrounding areas with Akamas National Park is just stunningly beautiful. Honestly, I have never seen such gorgeous blue sea, and picturesque rocky seaside. I underestimated Akamas and thought could be hiked in a couple of days, but it is massive and it is just simply put an amateur hiker's dream. Not too hard to climb and walk around, but still enough of a challenge. Rocky cliffs going up, and open view of a huge portion of the north-western part of Cyprus, with lush greenery and hidden paths on the inner side (that doesn't look out onto the sea). The area in Neo Chorio is well-kept and neat and it's wonderful to walk through even on car roads. Tip: March to June or September to November seems to be the best time to visit Cyprus. I would be cautious with the sun, as some areas are rather open without much shade.Guest review byTimea IrénHungary - 10.0

It was mid March and so out of m ain season but plenty of restaurants open and a good choice, especially if you loke sea food. Perhaps a bit pricey compared to other places. Excellent location and quiet for the busy time of the year we visisted. It was not so hot and humid and overall it was a very pleasant experience. Also a very short drive to the beach and nearby interesting villages. There was an excellent tavern in Droushia and many excellent eating places in nearby villages. We enjoyed this part of the island very much and this village was an excellent choice. I would strongly recommend for families.Guest review byEfrosiniCyprus - 8.0
Keep in mind that it is a remote and quiet area.
Keep in mind that it is a remote and quiet area. The only (comfortable) way to get there is by car, so renting one is a must or very highly advisable. The beach is a bit rough and covered with pebbles, like most beaches in Cyprus, but you can still find couple of sandy spots for an easy entrance. You will be there alone most of the time. It felt however that some works are/were under way to make it a bit more "touristy". There are couple of small shops in the are but I would recommend passing by LIDL in Limassol or Paphos on your way from the airport to stock up major groceries for your stay. You may still buy ice-cream, pepsi and bread in the local shops at twice the normal price :-) P.S. Sunsets are simply fantastic.Guest review bySimakinGermany - 4.0

The best thing about the apartment was that it was near to The nightlife. Unfortunately the apartment was very poorly equipped no sunshade on the Veranda and was too hot to sit out without. Veranda light broken, I stayed for two weeks and had to ask for clean bedding in the kitchen poorly equipped and some of the dishes were chipped, last but not least and the door handle to the apartment fell off was very disappointed with the apartment.Guest review byJanice
