Hence, if you’re okay with the photos, you’ll be fine in Grandior. The location is walking distance to the historic main square. Also there is a tram stop just at the entrance to the hotel. This connects you with all the other tourists sites in Prague, e.g. Prague Castle (Trams 3 or 24 --> 22). Best option – a 24 hr tram ticket (120 CZK/€5) takes you everywhere you want to go. The Hotel Room is spacious and comfortable. Room Service a 5*. Hotel Personnel too a 5* and Breakfast remarkable. There is so much to choose from that it’s literally and practically impossible not to find something to put on your plate. Really, if you do not find, then the problem is not the breakfast. For earlier starters breakfast is served from 6:30. If you’re checking out before 6:30, inform the hotel a day earlier, and you get a breakfast package. Indeed there is a Casino in the same building (ground floor) but with absolutely no side-effects to rooms on higher floors. We stayed on the 6th. Parking: Well, because reviews here on this subject were not satisfactory, we made other arrangements. In Prague there are lots parking options. That was unexpected and very much appreciated. The room was clean, well soundproofed, and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast had a good variety and everything was fresh. The spa is small, but it wasn’t crowded during my visit, so it felt relaxing. The jacuzzi and pool offer a stunning view—though the panoramic windows could use a cleaning. Watching the sunset from the jacuzzi was a memorable experience. The hotel is conveniently located with easy transportation options and is not far from the city center. We found the hotel parking a bit too expensive, so we parked at a nearby P+R, which was much cheaper. The hotel is large but very well-organized, and we loved the overall atmosphere. We were on the 6th floor, so we enjoyed a nice view from our room. The room itself was good enough, clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast had a wide variety of options, and we always found something to enjoy. While we didn’t try the bar or restaurant, the hotel felt very clean and well-maintained overall. The location is another big plus—there’s a metro station just across the street, making it super convenient to get to Prague’s city center. This was a return trip for me but one of my friends was...
This was a return trip for me but one of my friends was visiting for the first time so we were sure to show him as much as possible. Everywhere you go you find hidden gems. There is amazing architecture (you can tell the visitors as they are walking around gazing UP) We not only wandered Prague for hours, often getting gloriously lost - the best way to find unknown delights but took side trips to Karlstejn, Kutna Hora and Cesky Krumlov. We also enjoyed trips to the wonderful theatres and concerts in the most beautiful buildings and churches. As we were all over 65 we were very pleased to find out that we could travel on public transport in the city for free - just take your passport! I would suggest that if possible take your trip out of season as it can get very busy in the summer months, but definitely treat yourself to a visit to Prague.Guest review byUnaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Prague is beautiful.
Prague is beautiful. Great city to just wonder around and get lost in those narrow streets in the old town, surrounded by the magnificent buildings. It was excellent. We spent alot of time exploring the less tourist areas and took a trip to bone chapel in in Katna Hora. Food was great. Prices were high in the old town compared to the lesser town.
