Quiet location in the centre of the delightful little town of Trebon. Generously appointed and very spacious self catering apartments in a historic building, with wooden balconies facing onto a flowery courtyard with loungers and a large table with candles for evenings al fresco. A door from the courtyard opens onto a pretty riverside walk leading to a nearby spa as well as a wide choice of local cafes and restaurants. We were a group of 5 friends and the accommodation suited us perfectly. We would definitely come again.

    A very good hotel at the southwestern part of Trebon, a bit far from the old town, but still to a fine walkable distance. The staff was very nice, everybody kind and smiling, the room was bigger than expected (I got upgraded from a single room to a double room), the bed very comfortable and the room even had a balcony. A great plus was also that there was a refrigerator in the room, and a free bottle of water every day. The breakfast was amazing, I mainly booked this hotel because of the breakfast reviews and I was absolutely satisfied with what I got. The breakfast area is very spacious with lots of table and two coffee machines, so there is no queuing at all for table or coffee. And the food selection is very extensive with so many choices that I could not even try everything during my 2 days stay. There are all the usual buffet items, including scrambled eggs and fried bacon, but there are also premade sandwiches, sweet cremes in glass and different kinds of cakes. Also the fruit selection was very extensive, completely amazing! There is a nice big park with a big lake right beside the hotel to take some heartwarming walks. I will definitely return here again.

    This cozy and comfortable small apartment was perfect for our two nights in Trebon - separate room for our teenager and newly renovated bathroom. It's right in the center of the old town, breakfast with cold cuts and warm eggs can be had at the place next door or you can use the small kitchen in the apartment, parking was just across the street. Lots of restaurants within walking distance, the main square just around the corner. Everything was arranged and patiently explained by the hosts through German and some common Slavic languages - they were really nice and helpful and then left us in peace during our stay.

    We had a very relaxing time in this beautiful place and enjoyed the smell of the flowers in the front garden. The host was super helpful when we got delayed on our travel and everything else. The beds are comfortable and the rooms are cozy and bright. There are also shades so you can sleep in in the morning and mosquito nets so you can leave the windows open. The old town, the lake and a very big park are all close by in walking distance, along with good restaurants and coffee shops - while also being in a very quiet area, just outside the center.

    A pretty set of two houses on the outskirts of town. The 20-min walk from the centre is lovely and picturesque, though really only walkable daytime, as there aren't enough street lamps along the way. Our room was a good size for two, neutrally and tastefully furnished, with anti-gnat window nets-:) There is a kettle, and a fridge. The staff offer a pickup from the station for a small fee. The breakfast is good (though a tad monotone if you stay longer). A nearby camping is another plus, as you can rent bikes there, and there is a pub.

    Hotel is just in the historical city centre 2 minutes walking distance from the main square. It is small hotel but the rooms are big, nice, clean and very cosy. I can only recommend it. :-)

Bike hire info from the tourist office is out of date. Best bet is to go to the railway station, which hires bikes. If you don’t speak Czech, German will get you through...

    Area is on perifery between the hills/mountains. Not only can you pay by CZK, but also EURos are accepted. Decent offer of restaurants and markets, also whents not very touristy and central destination.

    Domanín is the village next to Trebon.

    Domanín is the village next to Trebon. It is located at the fish lake 'World' and also the English park with the burial chapel of the Schwarzenberg family belongs to it. If you want to have to most enchanting experience on getting to Trebon, book your stay in Domanín. The whole area is especially popular among bikers.

    This is a cyclist's paradise!

    This is a cyclist's paradise! There are countless trails that come and go around the complex system of lakes in this region. Each day you can go in a new direction, and come back to the lovely town of Třeboň. The architecture and ambiance of Southern Bohemia is historic but never overstated. If you love nature and history, this place is a necessary stop on your trip!

    Trebon is one of the most beautiful little towns in Czech Republic. It is renaissance marvel, with large Chateau, 3 squares, and landscape full of huge lakes (medieval-renaissance fishponds). Definitely worth to stay. They are famous health spas there.
