It was a business trip to Cologne and we decided to stay at the B-Chill Hotel because of all the good reviews we had seen on booking.com. After staying three nights I can say well deserved, from the moment we checked in we felt at home, the rooms were clean and well designed, microwave, coffee machine and a beautiful bathroom. the reception was extremely helpful and made our stay even more enjoyable, thank you Mr Zahin.

Modern furnishing, large windows, well equipped with sockets (at the desk, bed sides, bathroom, even next to the toilet bowl, next to light switches), automatic light below the wash basin, quality soap in soap dispenser, large magnifying mirror, candle and matches on the coffee table. I also liked the tiles in the bathroom. Breakfast was very good, dinner in the restaurant was real special!

An enchanting city to explore.

An enchanting city to explore. And the Dom itself certainly a ‘wonder of the world’. Both Museum Ludwig and the Wallraf-Richartz are good to visit. Tried different t restaurants of different ethnicities and all were excellent with friendly staff. An easy and often traffic free city to explore.

A beautiful city, especially the Altstadt.

A beautiful city, especially the Altstadt. Close to the Rhine. Really, really good connections to other cities such as under half an hour train to Essen & Cologne. Public transport was brilliant. The airport in the city also had good connections, making it easy to travel to from England. There were lots of self-service 'sandwich' shops which were such good quality. I wish we had things like this in the UK. We went up the Rhine Tower (Rheinturm) which had amazing views of the city. The city had beautiful architecture, especially in the Altstadt.

Bonn has not been bombed during WWII, therefore it has the largest well-conserved late 19th century urban area in Germany (Suedstadt). To be mentioned also, the Poppelsdorf Schloss and its wonderful restaurant situated within the Botanical Garden, the Poppelsdorfer Allee and the beautiful Rhine promenade in easy reach.

We love the architectural sights so enjoyed walking around the city. Unfortunately we picked a Sunday for sight seeing which we have found in most European cities not to be a good idea as most venues are close while the ones open do have an entrance fee. We definitely will go back but the stay closer to the city center as a stop on the way to Cologne. I think the experience on a Saturday would be considerably different to what we experienced on a Sunday. The City Square is always worth a visit with many small coffee shops, bakeries and restaurants and many of the key attractions are walking distance from the Main Square. The christmas market is planned for the next visit.

It’s ani e small good place .. my trip was too short to describe this town but located in the heart of Germany’s Ruhr area, is famous for its industrial heritage, cultural attractions, and vibrant nightlife. Landschaft park is brilliant.. free and very interesting...history of the blast furnace and you can climb all over it... Nice that they preserve such an historical site. A big shopping centre (Forum) with some really good places to eat. We are in Asia in the Forum... great value for money (19 eur for 2 meals) and another day we ate from the kebab shop opposite the Asia... Both times, excellent food and reasonably priced.

Definitely not a 4-star hotel.

Definitely not a 4-star hotel. First of all, the room lacked basic amenities: no safe for valuables, no closet for clothes, no phone to contact reception, and not even a simple shower cap. A lot of rooms have broken AC and broken lights in the bathroom. Reception people are very slow and helpless. You need to walk from 4th floor to ground floor if any issues as no phone to call reception. They say call on mobile but as foreigner people we must pay for call which is ridiculous because they do not provide service that should be. Do not follow up on what promissed to guests. At checkout, they offered a 20% refund due to all the inconvenience, but we never received it, and no one responded to follow-up messages when we approached them about when we get refund back. Extremely unprofessional. We will never return and will strongly advise others to avoid this place.
