There's a cozy lounge area for a nightcap. At night, it's enough off the beaten track that the room is quiet. The staff are courteous and helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Plenty of cultural places to visit in this historical town/suburb of Berlin. A clean and attractive city, with lots to see and a very pleasant ambience. Outside of the obvious attractions like the Sanssouci Palace, there are hidden gems dotted within a 20 minute walk out of the centre. There are myriad places to eat and the transport options are excellent. It is also a great base from which to explore Berlin. Potsdam is an ideal location for a stay. It;s close to Berlin with excellent public transport links but also a great place in its own right, with plenty of historical and contemporary places of interest to visit.
