An exceptionally friendly hotel. The hotel has an incredibly kind and trusting attitude toward its guests. At breakfast, no one checks whether the guest has paid. There is no bartender at the bar — guests serve themselves and simply write down what they’ve taken on a piece of paper.     At the hotel, I was greeted by smiling people at the reception. The room is very comfortable. Everything is there. Warm. The dining room has a good menu. There are vegetables, fruits, and meat. They cleaned the room once every two days, but did not refill the coffee and tea in the room the second time. The only thing I didn't like was that there were paper cups and chopsticks for making drinks in the room. But in general, I understand - if the styling of the hotel is similar to the cabins on the ship, then, accordingly, such glasses are disposable in the room. Even in my room, the internet was bad. But since the hotel is located near the center and everything important - the central station, buses, Tivoli Park... - the minuses are almost not noticeable, because I came to see the city, not to sit in the room on the Internet and drink coffee / tea. That's a 10/10 rating.

    My family loved this Hotel. Room is simple but practical (clean and good size) Location is perfect to visit city walking and train station beside (15min to airport). There are good restaurants nearby. Lobby comfortable with board games, free hot drinks and spirits to sell. Pool is amazing (even if you don’t plan to, it is worth). Breakfast was awesome (juices, fruits, salads, egg, bacon, cheeses and different kind of breads, even gluten free). Service 100%.

    The location is perfect. Walking distance to metro station and just beside the lake, perfect view and neighbourhood. The hotel is big and nice decorated. Staff were really nice, helping me for book a taxi and late check in. The room is spacious and clen. We've got everything we need inside. It is quite hot when closing the windows to sleep at night, even it is around 20 to 25 degrees outside. Hotel provides fans in.the room, which is very thoughtful.

    The hotel felt friendly and welcoming, everything worked as it should and was very clean. So, the beds were comfortable, the shower worked very well, the tea/coffee facilities were fine. We loved the eco-friendly initiative of giving a token prize for making up your own room. Location was excellent, two steps from the central station. Nearby, a good Thai restaurant and lots of other ones which we didn't have time to explore.

    Great, vibrant city filled with nice and helpful people. Moving from point to point was very easy thanks to great metro system. We have visited some places that could be exciting for kids like the city zoo and we also had a trip by a boat through the city canals. Food was tasty. We would definitely come back.

    The hotel is clean and very close to the train station so, it was very easy to get to central station which gives you access to all the trains that will get you to where you want to go. You can catch a train direct from the airport to Tastrup train station and walk less than 5 minutes to the hotel.

    It dark in these time of the year, but it is a great and green place. Friendly people and possibly nice path for recreations. I were business there though. I would say the staff in the 7 eleven at the station I do like the best, however at late card terminal may not be operation. Feeling safe.

    Very clean, newly renovated, quiet. The room well appointed. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. The hotel is in a small shopping area with a supermarket,small restaurants and every convenience very close. It’s a bit out of the city centre, so maybe not ideal if you are sightseeing in Copenhagen, but it’s on a bus line. My only small gripe- the pillows were small and we could have used two each and the winter bedcovers were too warm for June. Otherwise a great hotel where we will definitely stay again.

    Location and the grounds is very nice.

    Location and the grounds is very nice. The breakfast is ok but served between 7-9am. Room was big but outdated. TV has few channel and no bluetooth. Two person bed was separate spring mattresses that kept drifting apart. Bathroom is not up to standards for this kind of location and price range. Its a conference hotel more than it should be. Ordrupgaard Art museum is super close as is the beach. Lousiana art museum little ways and Bakken amusement park as well.

    I just need at quiet place to rest, wasn't on sightseeing... I'm not specifically interested in Ballerup at this moment... And therefore it was a bit annoying that the house was so noisy - late at night as well as early morning... The staircase especially was making a lot of noise.. It made me feel nervous that somebody was coming down to me - a lot of times...( I was in basement! ) I couldn't open a window either, just the door if I wanted some fresh air, and that wasn't very nice either... The room (s) were too big and 'spread out' in different 'sections', and that wasn't cozy in my eyes...There wasn't a 'night-lamp' near the bed that worked, only a lot of spot lights in the ceiling... Not that cozy even if the volume could be turned down... The man of the house seemed very nice, I met him on the way to the house, - as I was asking for advice concerning some road-maintenance obstacles that were in my way to get to the house. So they are most likely were nice people ... But I guess a big part of my disapointment comes from the fact that this stay was more expensive than a night in Hotel Zleep - also in Ballerup, 3 weeks ago...There I had a quiet room, no sound from the building, view to a lake, nice bed, a window I could open, GREAT BREAKFAST INCLUDED, everything clean and everything easy and flexible in terms of checking in and out etc. Much easier and more comfortable for me... So I will chose that next time...

It is usually very easy to go around by public transportation, and now the Rejenkort app makes things even easier to pay for the tickets. In going to Copenhagen, you will find many interesting options of restaurants around Christianshavn, Norrebro, and Norreport.

    Ballerup it self is a suburb that has everything you need. The bus connections are good, they are frequent and it only takes around 35 min by train from Copenhagen central station, path to walk and bike are well made to everywhere.

    There is a lot to see and do in Copenhagen.

    There is a lot to see and do in Copenhagen. I enjoyed the good art museums, churches, Nyhavn area, open top harbor cruise and some good restaurants (especially Riz Raz Vegetarian!). I also enjoyed taking train/bus trip out of town to see the Frederiksborg Castle and Louisiana Art Museum.
