Great experience, but one full day is too short to make a judgement. I had dinner at The Olive (near the university and opposite a theatre), it was fantastic. I had an opportunity to experience a concert in some sort of cathedral looking building, but I couldn’t take advantage, as I was tired and needed to get back to my room.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Helsingor is an adorable town an hour north of Copenhagen. I don't know that I'd have ever thought to go there but my son decided to get married there. It was an ideal meeting place for both families as his wife is from Germany. There are lots of lovely shops and restaurants and the ferry to Sweden is super easy to catch. I traveled by train from Copenhagen to do a 3 day hike. Koge was such a pleasant surprise - gorgeous architecture, good little hotel close to the market square, lots of amenities (shops/restaurants). Took a bus from train station (get your bus and train tickets in a 7 Eleven) to furthest point to hike to Stevens Klimt. Had to return there that night to connect onto another train to Mons Island - amazing hiking spot! It dark in these time of the year, but it is a great and green place. Friendly people and possibly nice path for recreations. I were business there though. The hotel is clean and very close to the train station so, it was very easy to get to central station which gives you access to all the trains that will get you to where you want to go. Very clean, newly renovated, quiet. The room well appointed. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. Excellent breakfast. The hotel is in a small shopping area with a supermarket,small restaurants and every convenience very close. It’s a bit out of the city centre, so maybe not ideal if you are sightseeing in Copenhagen, but it’s on a bus line. My only small gripe- the pillows were small and we could have used two each and the winter bedcovers were too warm for June. Lovely quiet place at the end of a dead road. Only traffic passing by is for 2 other houses. Beach and nature right outside the door. Copenhagen only half an hour away by train. Shopping mall less than 2 km away. Several supermarkeds in the area. We had a car to get around.
