Awesome location, can see Nile river from room and terrace. Great size 2 bedroom apartment. Nice restaurant and food. Staff was very helpful. Hot air balloon tour starts from walking distance from this location. Property had washing machine which is a + and they also provided iron.

    Everything. Most of all the staff. Karin the manager was a great help in organising our transfer from Hurghada and arranging some medicine when I got a stomach bug (from Hurghada not here). All the staff were so friendly and helpful and that will be our biggest memory from our trip. They arranged river crossings, taxis, a wonderful tour and took care of our every need. The terrace from the rooftop restaurant is great and we had the warm pool to ourselves most of the time. A big thank you to everyone for a great stay. Great value for money and highly recommended. We will be back to visit Aswan.

    My stay in Oasis hotel was very nice that I decided to extend 2 more days. Great location, in walking distance to the train & bus station, 10 mins walk to Luxor temple & the river bank. There are a lot of good local places to eat around the hotel. Mr. Karam was attentive to the guests. Even though your room would be on the higher floors, the staffs will help you carry the luggages when you check in & out. Bathroom is big & clean & they allow guests to take shower after check-out time. Wi-fi is very good too. Overall I have no complaints for my stay & would gladly pick the hotel to stay again.

    The location was well placed, beautiful and quiet. The lunch and breakfast were amazing. The staff was really friendly and answered to all our needs, special thanks to Abdul and Islam ! The guide we booked to visit the tombs and temple was amazing and really brought to life the history of Egypt. The air balloon trip was incredible and the host Mohammed was amazing as well. If you ever go to Luxor I highly recommend this place you will not regret it !

    Excellent location, food, staff, the atmosphere in general has been spectacular! I would go back every time I want to visit Luxor. By the way, with views of the valley. Mahmod is incredible, he helped me make plans to visit the Valley of the Kings, Hatchetsut and also make a plan to fly in a balloon, very friendly and correct. Chatting with him is also quite interesting. Without a doubt I recommend the place. It's not a fake, it's real. 😊

    The staff very helpful. Very nice breakfast. Nice clean swimming pool. Very good food. The bar was very nice with local spirits and beer. The real lod Egiptcian atmosphere foamed in the bar..very good location for the highlights of Luxor temples.and the city. Only just 5 minutes.away. Although we checked out at 12.00 o'clock, we were given opportunity to stay in the hotel till our bus leaves at 20.00 without any extra charge.

    All staff members were very friendly, and we felt as being among family members. It was our wedding anniversary while we were there, and the staff helped me to surprise my wife. They filled the room with flower petals and a cake was awaiting. The hotel terrace offers a great view, the food was excellent and (again) to mention wonderful staff, their warm and friendly approach. All staff members spoke very good English.

    I created a very intense tour of Egypt for my family. We were all exhausted when we arrived to the El Gezira. The hotel and our room was a lovely surprise. We got a family room so we could all be together. The kids cooled off in the pool. I slept better here than anywhere else on our trip. I’m sad we didn’t get a chance to stay longer. The food was great!

    Great historical places like Valley of the Kings, Queens and Hatshepsut temple. Hot air balloon is a must-try with good price compare with other countries. The pilot is very experience and the hot air balloon is very stable. However, day time weather is comparatively hotter then Cairo and Aswan. Recommend to bring a portable fan around.

    I thought Luxor temple was much better than the pyramids.

    I thought Luxor temple was much better than the pyramids. The taxi driver at the airport Mohamed, was very friendly and came back to collect us on time. There was a man with a horse carriage that was relentless and a liar for about 10 minutes, non-stop from the hotel to the entrance of the temple. We were the only ones walking the full avenue from Luxor temple to Karnak but it was worth it because it was peaceful and the guards were friendly. We would have liked to stroll at night time on the promenade but as soon as you were stepping outside the hotel, you were targeted by scammers. The hotel had good facilities, good food and a good swimming pool but it would have been good to enjoy a bit more freedom like in any other tourist destination.

    Luxor sites are great must see for travelers who loves ancient Egyptian sites. Many beautiful experiences. But unless you've got the a full time tour/handler, be prepared for the endless stream of people looking to siphon some of your pocket and time. We're 'do it yourself' kind of travelers and did so without serious issue; It takes street smarts and awareness. People generally are kind and warm and Luxor has a lot to offer. A driver/guide is essential for the West Bank sites though, many things to navigate and difficult without someone versed in the area and processes.
