Excellent choise for people who like to stay away from the noise of the city in the evening. Great view overlooking Habu temple, a genuine highlight on the west bank neglected by the big travel companies. Great night sky. Even dinner served in house on demand. Very kind reception by the hosts. Hotel frequented by archeologists.

First, I would like to start my review by saying a huge thank you to this beautiful place and its staff. Everyone was so friendly and helpful. During our stay, they went out of their way to make us feel at home. The place has a great atmosphere and authentic feel, I really loved it! Even better than the pictures.Our room was very tidy and clean with an amazing view. The chef serves delicious food every day. The breakfast is traditional and very delicious. Ahmed is the best. He is the nicest person I have met on my trip to Egypt. I hope to visit him again and again. I wish them all the best.

It's a lovely, spacious, cozy, friendly place, very clean, comfortable beds and with amazing sunset view. The staff was helpful and friendly. we feld like we were part of the family. I liked the breakfast too - it was very tasty. We had enjoyable time in Karima house!

We (myself, my partner and our 15-years old son) spend two days in Luxor beginning of November, having both our overnight stay as our meals and tours organized through Malkata House. The hotel is aesthetically very pleasing, with beautiful views from the roof terrace and a calm inner yard with pool and reclining chairs. We had a comfortable, generous apartment located on the ground floor with very spacious bathroom and living room. The personnel was very friendly and we felt very welcome. The chef cooked for us exquisite Egyptian food, the portions were very generous. Our guide, Hamdi, was very knowledgeable and friendly, we really enjoyed our tours on the East and West Bank with him. If going to Luxor, Malkata House is a location we do wholeheartedly recommend!

We had the two bedroom apartment. It was very large, very clean and everything looked fairy new. Small swimming pool was lovely for the children. Staff was very kind! Food was tasty.

I love this beautiful little place! I feel both at home and at peace here. I gladly extended my trip and I’m in bed best place to rest and rejuvenate myself. There is a restaurant next door owned by the same family and the dinner is absolutely fabulous! Definitely give it a try!
