What a fabulous hotel. The building is incredible and it has been decorated and furnished with style. The staff were super friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Access to the building was secure and straightforward outside of normal working hours.

Great SPA hotel. As it was my birthday, we had a welcome glass of champagne opon check-in. Very kind staff. Amazingly well designed interior. Lovely and spacious room with a heating which was very important in winter when it is a bit chilly even in Spain. Michelin star quality food. Specially dinner. Swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and turkish bath included in price. Perfect location by the Atlantic ocean. Only 30min drive to wonderful Cadiz with plenty ofwalking and exploring possibilities. Highly reccomended.

The hotel is in a beautiful location, on a stretch of coast where the difference between the loess walls and the fairly high tides gives a very special experience. It really is outstanding. The sunsets are stunning, the sunrises also give wonderful reflections. The garden is airy, lovely, tasteful, taking advantage of the great location. As we didn't come for a swim, but for an excursion, we didn't try the pools. But they were clean and pleasantly situated. The hotel is not dated, it has a fresh feel, the different rooms are nicely separated. The restaurant was not crowded. Dinner is to be commended, we have been in many hotels of a similar category, but the cuisine of this one is definitely among the very best! The choice is not too wide, just right, but the flavour is not average at all, there was always something extra along the different themes. The dessert section is 10 points, outstanding among 4 star hotels. The breakfast does not have the same variety, but there were always fresh products and not the dozen cold cuts, but also more special meats and cheeses. Also grilled meats and fresh egg varieties. It was good, really good. The rooms are nice, the view here is very nice. The furniture is not up to date, but it's not worn out and the overall effect is good. The staff are friendly, direct and helpful. Especially the general staff (reception, programmes). Some of the older waiters were a bit grumpy, but not yet annoyingly so. The wifi is good, the parking is free.

Everything was just excellent. We enjoyed the room, jungle view around, food was amazing with very big portions, ocean 5min walk from the place, staff was so friendly and helpful, pool was clean and available 24h, private parking included. Oh, forgot to mention relaxing and joyful atmosphere around. :)

    We were probably very lucky that our pre-booked mobile house in different camping of this area got cancelled (maybe due to the storm it had passed 2 nights before we arrived, maybe due to the off-season laziness). We had arranged a ground floor apartement in this camping quickly instead. It shown up as a great descision. Everything went smooth, the place was clean, just our size for 2 with 2 kids. The restaurant was closed that night and next morning, but we arrived with some food which we just prepared in the kitchen easily. We didn’t expected more, even there were some shops opened around anyway. It might be little tricky with hot water for those who are not fully friendly with gas bottles, i didn’t find it as a problem but I’m sure the personnel would had been helpful.

    My daughter and I loved the hotel, excellent breakfast and lunches. The indoor pool was super nice and Veronika loved the kids club and I enjoyed the exercise program every day at 10 am. These programs were a lovely bonus to already pleasant stay. We loved the maintained garden around with everything blooming in February. Felt very welcomed and comfortable here. We plan to return again hopefully in next few years.

    We love the location - being able to roll out of bed straight onto the beach is amazing. It's a small place too, so it never gets too busy or too noisy, it's perfect to just relax and disconnect.     It was excellent, I have already covered this in detail in my review /Likes. The Cathedral was Magnificent inside and out, but it isn't in your sights below, because I didn't see those listed, I can't give an opinion; it was great for photos I took lots. If any of the sights below were like the Museum(Roman)and in the mina area and the beautiful beaches from the tour bus, also the tower and the music hall adjacent I would expect them to be great as well, everywhere was beautiful.

    Love staying in the old medina of Tarifa.

    Love staying in the old medina of Tarifa. Handy for an enormous array of tapas bars, cafes and restaurants. Loads of souvenir shops along the narrow streets. Los Lances can be windy but that's good if you like kite surfing and chicas beach on the Mediterranean side is sheltered. 15 minutes walk to the bust station for links all round spain.

    It was a tired and old town with many dilapidated buildings many of the bars and cafes did not open untill lunchtime making it difficult to get a coffee. The ferry to Cadiz was very cheap and Cadiz was well worth the visit

    It is a great place for a relaxing vacation!

    It is a great place for a relaxing vacation! A nice beach (8km coast) where you can swim, relax or have a nice walk! There is also a street workout area next to the beach if you feel like working on your pullups and muscle ups! I also visited a park where I could watch flamingoes and other birds. I will go back to Chiclana one day! It was wonderful!

    Zahara de Los Atunes is a charming unspoiled little town. It suits those who are genuinely interested in Spanish life. It is unashamedly Spanish and doesn't try to compete with the brasher resorts of the Costa Del Sol. I am reluctant to recommend it to others but that is only because I want to keep it for myself.

    Stunning town with a ridiculous amount of excellent bars and restaurants serving top quality food at a fraction of the price you would pay in the UK. Very Spanish (obviously) and everyone super friendly and accommodating. Lots to see and do around and not far from Cádiz. You do need a car which you can park for free at the bottom of the town and then walk up - it is incredible hilly and steep so proper shoes recommended! Beautiful main plaza with fountain and tapas places and restaurants. Highly recommend.

    Algeciras has some beautiful parts, in the old city the Moorish architecture is really quite something. There are some rougher parts sure, as with any large port town. But I found it safe, the people friendly and the food was great, especially El Taller restaurant. Nearby beach Playa el Rinconcillo was fine. But Algeciras isn't like some beautiful Mediterranean coasted resort destination, it's a fairly gritty Spanish port with some beautiful architecture and passable beaches, cheap and cheerful with easy access to TARIFA where you can get a ferry to Tangiers and visit nearby roman ruins or visit very nearby Gibraltar.

    The old town is beautifull with plenty of local people and spaniards from diffrent reagions of Spain. Not too many tourist is good news. There are delicious and trendy restaurants and tapas bars. Medina Sidonia palace is marvelous and the Church of Notre Dane of Ó, a pearl of architecture from spain, has a sweet lady guide (and very well informed).
