Amazing place.
Amazing place. The destination for the Camino de Santiago and it didn’t disappoint. From the food, our stay at the Seminario Minor, to the main attraction of the Cathedral, is was wonderful. More than a visit, the pilgrimage is life changing.Guest review byNoblesUnited States - 8.0

Leon is a tad touristy but still retains some of Europes most beautiful Archtecture not least of which is the Cathedral of course - built with a population supposedly around 5000 leaves one in awe at what was built … and where the money came from . The modern side will entertain the shopaholics ( you know who you are !) but the cultural bit can be done in a few days with ease . Restaurants cater for all .Guest review byAnonymous - 2.0
Disgusting place. Rude person on the desk. Parking?
Disgusting place. Rude person on the desk. Parking? Forget it. A garage shared by the entire old building with spaces too small for any modern car. The front desk person has to walk ahead of you and point out the space you must park in - disgusting. That is my only way to describe this hotel from hell.Guest review byCatherinePortugal - 10
Beautiful city. Very well kept. Fabulous parks.
Beautiful city. Very well kept. Fabulous parks. It felt thriving. Lovely architecture. Friendly people. Many people spoke excellent English. Good food. Plenty of paid parking facilities. You need a permit to park on residential streets, so don't park there.Guest review bySusanUnited Kingdom - 10
Logron~o is an ideal base for exploring Rioja and its wines.
Logron~o is an ideal base for exploring Rioja and its wines. It also seems to be very popular with people doing the Camino de Santiago. It is a lively town, with an interesting old-town, as well as newer and very-new areas surrounding it. The municipal park along the River Ebro provides a surprisingly quiet ambience within minutes of the rest of the town. The main tourist area is around Calle del Laurel which has a great variety of tapas bars and wine bars - but almost every area has some area for wine and food. Just beware of meal times - it is hard to get anything other than small tapas between 2pm and 8pm as there seem to be no all-day restaurants like VIPS (no snotty comments please - no . Taxis are a good option for nearby wineries but you have to queue or phone for one like in the 90s - apparently taxi apps aren't a thing yet. The strangest gap is public transport to Haro, which arguably has more bodegas than Logron~o but not much by way of hotels or evening restaurants. The first bus or train from Logron~o to Haro seems to arrive just as many of the wineries stop their tours around 2pm, and the last bus/train back from Haro seems to leave at 5pm, before anywhere opens for dinner. (I'd love to be corrected on this, in time for my next visit!)Guest review byBrendanIreland - 10
I was pleased with my time in Arzua. I was tired.
I was pleased with my time in Arzua. I was tired. It was a long hard walk with a 40 lb pack on my back, so reaching Arzua and having a clean comfortable bed with a private bathroom and the promise of a hearty breakfast the next morning was a bonus. Also I learned that I could have someone courier my back pack to my next destination was a very welcome piece of news.Guest review byPamelaCanada - 10

O Pedrouzo is a small town on the way to El Camino De Compostela. We only needed to stay one night and that was enough. I'm not sure if there were much to do in town. We tried two restaurants El Bule and Galaicos that serve traditional Galician food. Prices were fair and food was good.Guest review byJuan - 10

It was amazing to arrive in Portomarin and dip my feet in the river. It was the best foot spa experience I have ever had. Great spot to rest when walking the Camino from Sarria. There was a couple of people singing and playing a guitar under a bridge and that made the whole experience even more romantic.Guest review byMaryIreland - 10
