We had a great three night stay in this cosy hotel. Good choice for people who do not like anonymous big hotels on the coast. As the hotel is situated in a village Vilafor at an altitude of 1400 meters, it is ideal for tourists intending to visit Teide national park. I recommend to book a half board because the meal is great, both breakfast and dinner. The rooms and beds are comfortable. The staff is very nice and helpfull. We would definitely to stay again in this hotel.

Everything from the very warm welcome by the staff who were very soft spoken and guided us very nicely, to the amazingly clean rooms and very ample in size, the bathroom was super clean and quite big too and we loved the superb breakfast spread and the whole staff was so welcoming and nice there too. The swimming pool is amazing too and the gardens are so well maintained. They even got us a nice Berries juice by the poolside. The property is really very very well maintained. It shows the owners run it very nicely and take care of their staff as well as their guests very well!! I will recommend this hotel to all and will surely return again!! The location is very prime too, in the middle of nature, There is ample parking available just 2 mins away from the hotel and if there isn't, you can park inside the hotel's Gated Parking for 7€ a day. Our 2 year old Daughter was so sad because she didn't want to leave the Hotel and Go back home, they made her feel so special there!!

The check-in was amazing, they gave us some champagne for a welcome and the whole check-in was smooth. The rooms are amazing, spacious, the bathroom the bed.. and the bed is the most comfortable bed i have slept in (pillows are very soft and comfortable)! Breakfast was fabulous and had a lot of variety. There was a special dish corner every day. The fruits and fresh juices were my highlight. We booked the Star Prestige option which was definitely worth it. We had a priority check in and they let us park in the staff parking for the first night which was so convenient for us after a whole day of travelling. Star Prestige and Non Star Prestige Pool areas were immaculate! The room was very clean and I have to highlight the housekeeping! I have never had better housekeeping in any hotel. They came several times to make sure we had fresh towels the mini bar was restocked (free for star prestige) and they put a mini praline chocolate for both of us every day. The attention to detail was amazing. Although it’s high season it was so relaxing at the pool areas it didn’t feel overcrowded at any point.

Everything about the hotel is perfect, we loved our stay here. The staff is really friendly, the appartments are spaceous and clean, the restaurant and breakfast is so good. We went with our 2 month old baby and they provided a baby bed and even a baby bath tub, great service. We will be back!

Fun and Sun All Year Round

The largest of the Canary Islands, Tenerife has sun, sand and sangria all year round. Its landscape is dominated by volcanic Mount Teide, a UNESCO World Heritage Site whose peak is covered by snow. There are fabulous views over Tenerife and the surrounding islands from the cable car that takes you up.

However, most visitors flock to the island for its beaches. The most exclusive area is Costa Adeje, home to most 5-star hotels in Tenerife. It also houses Aqualand waterpark with waterslides, pools and a dolphinarium, while next door Playa de las Americas boasts Siam Park – Europe’s largest waterpark.

This resort is the island’s party capital and features a large number of Tenerife hotels with swimming pools, and a wealth of bars and restaurants. Adjoining Los Cristianos also has a long, sandy beach.

The southern Tenerife beaches are actually artificial, made from white sand imported from the Sahara Desert, because the natural ones are black sand. Tenerife resorts with just such a beach include Puerto de la Cruz and Los Gigantes, which is dramatically sheltered by sheer cliffs.

It was a brilliant place to stay - the rooms were to a high standard and very modern, and the overall grounds and facilities were beautiful. We would definitely stay here again The buffet breakfast each morning was also excellent and a huge selection was on offer. Not sure how anyone could be disappointed with it. The location is brilliant. We heard no noise any night we stayed here, and yet we were only a few minutes away from bars and restaurants Also for anyone thinking of traveling - The number 40 bus from Tenerife South Airport goes every 30 minutes and drops you at “Columbus” station which is five minutes walk away. The fare is €3, you can pay by contactless, and this is a huge cost saving compared to taxi (€40+)

    Literally everything, they were caring, understanding, the room even as an adult was a damn room to die for, having autism being in a completely foreign county can and has been stressful but these people tried their absolute hardest to help in any way they can. Loved the roosters they had roaming but the girlfriend had the fun idea of feeding them from the balcony the first few days they ended up waking us up at 6am every morning for food 😂. Other than that I've stayed in 5* hotels that don't touch the surface on this place. Can't recommend more to go. If you got the option, go.

    It's perfect for city tourism—it's pleasant and interesting to stroll around, and the architecture is beautiful. There are plenty of good restaurants with excellent food; we didn't have time to visit everything we wanted in a week. The downside is the many ups and downs, which can be a problem for those with limited mobility. I definitely recommend spending one day visiting Loro Parque.

    The Hotel Volcano is in a great Location, it is a great place to visit, we will be definitely returning next year and for the foreseeable future holidays. I would definitely recommend the Tuk, Tuk tour. It’s gives you a better feel for this beautiful place in playa de Las Americas. I found this place to be very clean, tidy and very Welcoming!!

    Great island. you got a bit of everything. in the south you got all Resorts, beaches and Beachclubs. In the west you have a nice mountain area with traditional villiges. In the north you have Santa Cruz this is a more local and traditional city with a lot of cultural sites and very good local restaurants and bars. I the middle of the island is the Volcano with amazing hicking paths and amazing views at night to look at the stars.

    Santa Cruz de Tenerife doesn’t have much of nightlife, almost everything was closed at 21:30-22:00 and there were no people outside either we were on the center of the town or near the plaza. BUT, The island in general is worth it. If you can get outside and go see other towns - villages, it is definitely worth it and be prepared for breathtaking sights, views and amazing monuments. There are a lot sightseeings worth visiting, but Santa Cruz de Tenerife on its own is just not worth it that much (and the parking there is literally impossible)

    Los Cristianos is a great place for couples especially. Lots of cafes and restaurants for drinks and for a great meal. Plenty of choices and prices are reasonable. You can walk for miles around and there are lovely views when you walk towards Las Americas. Some areas looking a little scruffy at the moment but there is work being done and new paving being laid and it looks very nice. Be wary of staying in the higher areas as walking up and down the hill may be difficult. Beaches are very good Excellent for families. You can’t beat a day on the beach then a cocktail on the way back . Bus are fantastic and cheap get a Bono card at the kiosk at the bus station and put 10-20Euros on it and you can get to Las America, further in Adeje to Fanabe Del Duque and Caletta is beautiful. You can have a fun holiday here

    Situated in Golf Del Sur - it's pretty much an ex-pat community comprised mainly of the British. If you want nightlife, then this isn't the place for you. There are quite a few bars and restaurants around the place, but better to take a stroll down to San Blas or Los Abrigos for more options. It's one junction down from the airport, so if you don't like aircraft noise, then again, this isn't for you. It's peaceful, usually quite windy, which is good when it's hot!

    Sprawling development which merges into Los Gigantes. At the base of a very steep hill. Good selection of restaurants but spread over a large distance. A couple of great restaurants close to Los Dragos.

    The city consists of three parts.

    The city consists of three parts. The historic part with beautiful and charming streets. The villa part with beautiful gardens, trees, houses, and the part where people live tightly and where the most is happening. Lots of street culture, lots of cultural attractions. Lots of opportunities for good food.

    El Medano is totally different than the other more common...

    El Medano is totally different than the other more common tourist centres further up the coast. Aimed for surfing types, wind/foil/kite and more. Enough nice restaurants and cafes for local food. No late night life but Fri and Saturdays are usually still lively. Beaches pristine and can walk for kms. Have to mention the wind, as it's almost always blowing, but that's what draws the surfers.

    We love living and hiking in the quiet hinterland few miles...

    We love living and hiking in the quiet hinterland few miles North, up the hills and away from the water front in LC and LA, yet we also love swiming the ocean at the truly great playas (Camison, Duque, Las Vistas etc.) and walking the Golden Mile when it's not over-crowded. Golf fans have a decent green ready to play, one of the greenest area of Arona/Adeje. Hike to Vilaflor and Canadas, take a ferry to Gomera, go to a folk fest in the village... 10s of options open Excellent frutas y verduras, fresh fish (e.g. tra the local tuna bonito doradas etc.), quesos fresco (e.g., try those young unsalted semi-curados, requeson, greek yougurts etc.) Some shots across time https://photos.app.goo.gl/QeehuXuu7jjoBk719 https://goo.gl/photos/fwhJ12q6zSKSjTCT8 Overall great, limited only by time, imagination, energy and funds.
