- From US$140.12 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 3,411 reviewsThe hotel is located close to the A62 motorway and is easy to find. It is modern and clean with professional and polite staff. The room seemed well soundproofed and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom had a large shower cubicle. There was a good choice on the breakfast buffet and in addition we were offered an omelette cooked to order or eggs and bacon. There is an underground secure carpark with ample wide spaces and easy entry and exit. Whilst there wasn't a restaurant in the hotel for an evening meal there are bars and restaurants close by. Overall, an excellent hotel for an overnight stay when travelling down through Spain.Guest review byCharles SwannFrance
- From US$199.18 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 1,767 reviewsJust driving into the Hotel was an instant pleasure. You just know you are going to really like your stay. Nothing afterwards contradicted it. The facilities and the standard of presentation of them is top class. We wished we had more time to have taken advantage of the Spa, it really was high class and very inviting. Reception were very helpful and explained where we could park and charge our car. Something more Hotels should take note of, a big plus these days. A nice enough restaurant and OK menu. Room was well appointed and very comfortable. Bathroom of a very high standard.Guest review byAshleyUnited Kingdom

It's a beautiful city with a huge history.
It's a beautiful city with a huge history. It is so relaxing and interesting. We weren't looking for nightlife - but there were so many local bars that were much more fun. We were 5 minutes' walk from Plaza Mayor and less than 10 minutes from the house where Miguel de Cervantes (Don Quixote author) lived and also the surprisingly interesting Museums of Sculptures (you need to stick with it to see the whole thing: ra-ra-ra promotion is not a strong point for Valladolideros(?) - e.g. they could make a fortune impulse-selling Don Quixote dual-language books but there were none to be found.) It's also a great base for touring the Ribera del Duero.Guest review byBrendanIreland - 6.0
Tordesillas is a famous town in the world history!
Tordesillas is a famous town in the world history! At the end of the 15th century the pope and the kings of Spain and Portugal agreed here how to allocate the newly discovered territories in South America.. The museum is interesting, but the town has little to offer except for the nice views from the river side and the well preserved churches. Restaurant choices are limited..Guest review byEtienne VDBelgium - 10.0

The city is very small but has an impressive castle nested in the nearby hill A good starting point could be walking this hill up as parking facilities closer to the castle entrance could get jammed. The historic city centre has one or two nice "cervezarias" where you could mingle with local people and have a beer with bocadillos. Alongside N-122 which is the local road that passes trough the city you will find several wineyardsGuest review byPaulo OctavioBrazil - 10.0

Medina del Campo is a charming location full of an ancient and Castilian flavour. Tradition is everywhere, from old and smelly bakeries to good and affordable restaurants offering great local dishes and typical cuisine. We went to enjoy Easter traditions there as they are still like they were many decades ago, so in this sense is like having a trip to the past. People are nice and very proud of their traditions. The town is nice to visit (mostly Plaza Mayor and surrounding streets, like the three 'comuneros' main streets and the many churches scattered around the village. Nearby, great excursions and accessible cross-country trips can be easily made in a surrounding full of nature and other charming villages!Guest review byAnonymous - 4.0
The drains in the bathroom smelt awful.
The drains in the bathroom smelt awful. Had to keep the door closed. No space for toiletries. WC seat was very loose. Glass shower door off the runner’s so couldn’t use the shower. Kettle in the kitchen leaked so badly it was unusable. Sofa was so badly stained it felt positively unpleasant to sit on. Would not stay there again.Guest review byDENISFrance - 10.0

We had a private tour of three different vineyards that were not as well known and must say, amazing Tempranillo wine. We also ate cordero lechal at a local well-known restaurant, Mannix. Simply amazing. We were also given a tour of the kitchen by merely asking.Guest review byJOHNUnited States - 10.0
The town is lovely and noticeably clean.
The town is lovely and noticeably clean. The Plaza Mayor regularly hosts events which makes the centre busy and vibrant. Some great churches and a cathedral to visit, supplemented with museums and art galleries. The town has a plethora of bars and restaurants. Some great walks along the river and the central areas are largely pedestrianised. There is a visible police presence, which offered reassurance and created a very safe feeling, although we never witnessed anything that required their intervention.Guest review byPhilipUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Historic hillside town on River Duero crossing.
Historic hillside town on River Duero crossing. Fabulous little Santa Clara Convent with 15th Century Mudejar horseshoe patio & golden ceiling. "Mad" Queen Juana reclusive convent life 1509-55. Fascinating museum of Treaty of Tordesillas signed by Spain / Portugal dividing Latin America in 1494. Centre of Comunero revolt against Charles 1 monarchy in 1520. Today a sleepy town with cloistered square with good eateries and economic hotels. Surrounded by wine of Toro & villages with big castles.Guest review byMartinSpain - 10.0
Valladolid surprises.
Valladolid surprises. At face value it doesn't match up to its illlustrious neighbours, but it reveals itself as you stay longer. There are many monuments, multiple and varied churches, parks, 2 outdoor pools, a riverside swimming beach, and it is where Christopher Columbus spent his last days (check out the museum). Don't expect English to be widely spoken and tours and museums are nearly all in Spanish. Plenty of dining options and adequate shopping. I wouldn't say the populace embraces visitors, but then again they don't spray them with water pistols either.Guest review bymarkUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Tirdesillas is a stunning place to visit with picturesque scenery and medieval buildings but not in the winter. We were there because we were travelling home but temperatures in winter are well below zero and there is a good chance of snow. So visit in the spring and autumn when temperatures are not extreme hot and cold.Guest review byPatriciaUnited Kingdom
