The resort is simply fantastic. The room is special with a garden that leads directly to the beach. The outdoor shower is stunning! The room is clean and equipped with every comfort. However, the highlight of the resort is the staff, who are truly exceptional: attentive to every need, hospitable, and incredibly kind. It was our honeymoon, and they prepared the room with a welcome gift. Truly fantastic. The breakfast is superb, and so is the dinner. We recommend this place 100%.

All staff are friendly and kindly, facilities are up to expectations. The food there is also fantastic. Although it might not be amazing, but considering that Tokoriki is just an island, the food there is much better that what we had on other islands. The farewell ceremony is something we haven’t expected. They not only gave us their heartfelt gratitude for our staying at their hotel and sang us their local songs to wish us a safe journey home, all the staff also shook our hands or hugged us one by one. This is really touching and we can feel that they have been treating us with their genuine hospitality. One staff member we would like to thank in particular is NAVO (from landscaping dept I assume). He gave us a tour around the premise, which was full of knowledge and their Fijian wisdom. He showed us different kinds of fruit trees grown at Sheraton, and the kinds of leaves they would use for their herbal medicine. We also learned quite a lot of Fijian way of life. We are truly grateful for all the things he shared with us.

A very authentic experience with wonderfully friendly, happy and smiling staff. The best hotel ever. The hotel is amazing but the staff is just incredible: they are all so nice, always available, you feel like you are part of the family! The food is a Michelin level of good. The fact that this is a small hotel makes everything more personalized. They prepare a lot of special surprises for you. Definitely recommend it!

My wife and I chose Six Senses Fiji for part of our honeymoon, having experienced other Six Senses resorts. The Fijian property, however, was truly outstanding. Every staff member radiated warmth and friendliness. Our GEM was particularly wonderful, seamlessly coordinating all our desired activities. Accommodation: We stayed in the Hideaway Pool Villa. The expansive space boasts a private pool, lush garden, and ultra-comfy beds. Cuisine: Breakfasts were satisfying, and while they might not outshine some larger resorts, the staff's willingness to customize is commendable. Our lunch and dinner experiences were generally pleasant, with a mix of set menus and à la carte options. A bit more variety might enhance the longer stays, though. Everything was very fresh. Activities: The resort offers a mix of complimentary and chargeable activities. I'd highly recommend the surfing – the instructors are top-notch! Also, don't miss out on Cloud 9; it's a quick boat ride away and a must-visit. Insights: The expansive resort does cater to families, yet its sheer size ensures privacy. For families, the available nanny service is an excellent touch. For couples, I don't think you will be disturbed. Value: Considering the premium nature of an island resort, the value resonates at about 8-9/10. It's a five-star experience, and the pricing reflects that. Final Thoughts: Six Senses Fiji captivated us with its charm, outstanding service, and dedicated team. Special mention to the GM, whose dedication to the resort and its guests is evident. Heartfelt thanks for making our honeymoon an unforgettable experience!

As a large family group of 2 grandparents, 6 adult children and 3 grandkids, the resort was excellent and catered for all ages. A great selection of 4 pools, beautiful beach, 2 superb restaurants and a large buffet restaurant, plus other eateries. Various shops and bars. Night time entertainment, fire dancers were excellent, grandson amazed that "he ate fire"! Water sport activities, catamaran, kayaks, jumping inflatable. Relaxing spa, 9 hole golf course with Plantation island golf balls so they're all the same! Boats available for a quick trip to Cloudbreak and other surf breaks. Cloud 9 floating bar. We did it all and it was all amazing.

We stayed at Sheraton Resort & Spa Takariki Island Fiji in...

We stayed at Sheraton Resort & Spa Takariki Island Fiji in early September for 6 nights with my partner. Our room had a garden view and was equipped with everything we needed, though it could use a light renovation. Housekeeping was done daily, with linen changed every three days. Complimentary water was provided at 0.5L per person per day. The resort grounds are absolutely stunning, with breathtaking views of the ocean and the island, especially from the dining area. The staff were always warm and welcoming. A special thank you to Irene for her hospitality and support, as well as to the recreation team and the chef for the delicious meals, which is impressive considering the challenges of island logistics. Service in the restaurants was slower than we are used to – sometimes lunch took 40 minutes to an hour – but this seems to be the island pace, so patience is needed. The all-inclusive package took us a couple of days to fully understand. Breakfast buffet was included, lunch was à la carte with a choice of two courses, and dinner offered three courses à la carte or buffet (on some days), plus the option of dining at the excellent Indian restaurant, Kukuima, which we highly recommend. The pool was great, and the highlight of our stay was the snorkelling. You can already see fish just off the beach, and if you swim a bit further out to the reef crest, the variety of marine life is amazing. It’s important to go at high tide to avoid damaging corals or getting injured. The resort also carefully manages activities depending on tide, wind, and waves, which we appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful stay with beautiful weather, lots of positive energy, and memorable experiences. We would be very happy to return.

The snorkelling was amazing, so much live coral and plenty of fish just off the beach. We saw reef sharks off the back of Serenity island, we also saw one swim in front of our beach front Bure. We also went on a trip to the Sandbar and it had amazing coral also, the team at Serenity island made our trip so much fun and was a great group bonding event.

Do not book into this "resort" if you would like nice and good service, good food and a general feel of comfort. It was all terrible. The pool was under construction which was not said prior. We sat on the beach and listened to a jack hammer for an entire day.

We didnt stay for the surfing, but for snorkelling, cloud 9 and the bushwalk. From the summit of the hike the views are amazing. Take sturdy shoes, water (safe to drink) and a few snacks from the mainland as the hike is hard work in the heat, its steep with loose dirt/gravel - about an hour or so one way. We snorkelled off sandbank and it wasnt too busy - at low tide the sandbank is exposed so put your towel and water down there and spend an hour with the reef fish. Some of them came right up to me, I wonder if they’ve been fed or are just friendly. Cloud 9 was just fun. Byo goggles or snorkel, a money card and a towel. Jump off the roof into the water, swim with the fish and enjoy a pizza and a cocktail.

I cannot praise the staff enough.

I cannot praise the staff enough. Anything you wanted they took care of. Our bure was right on the beach and there were sturdy steps leading down to the water that was almost lapping at our door. Taking a dip in the sea was easy and refreshing. The restaurant and bar areas were great and always b right and happy with local Fijians making music. The quiet pool was lovely as we are older adults and appreciated the fact the children had another pool to swim and play in. We could relax with a cocktail around the pool. Overall it was a great stay and recommend it to anyone going to Fiji - it is a must.

    Fantastic accommodation and food (Sheraton).

Fantastic accommodation and food (Sheraton). Weather was perfect in June - consistently between 24-28 deg! Water temp was 27deg - no rasher needed. Very relaxing. Note a couple of things - extra activities were super expensive. Food generally quite expensive (but good) - we stayed at Sheraton - very nice - but no 'cheaper' food options (e.g. ~$20-30Aus for an entree). Highly suggest paying for the buffet breakfast - amazing! (never seen so many options!).
