We had a wonderful visit, Sebastian, Nicolas and all the staff were lovely. Nothing was a problem and the restaurant was great. However, what was exceptional was breakfast...I have never experienced choice and quality like it before. 👌 Every item is locally sourced and premium quality, yes you pay, but you feel special and valued.

I cannot say enough good things about this hotel, especially the staff. I booked this hotel because my teenage children’s boat was cancelled so they had to stay in St Malo for the night and get the early boat the next morning. The following morning when I realised they were still asleep 45 minutes before the boat was due to leave, I called the hotel, the staff not only called the room to wake them up for me, they even drove them to the harbour to avoid the 15 minute walk. Talk about exceptional kindness. I would definitely recommend this hotel ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

As well as all the "headline" features described in the guide books, one of St Malo's strengths is that there is almost always an intriguing point of historical or geographical fascination round each corner. So, if you like to explore, it will reward you.

Driving from Renne don't miss your exit because you will need to drive to the next exit to get turned back. I made that mistake only once. Also, many BBhotels are right next to good restaurants that offer specials for guests. Not aware of one at Saint-Jouan-des-Guerets. Verdun has a great one as do the BBhotels in Lens and Compiegne.

A very beautiful and peaceful part of Brittany. If you avoid crowds of tourists and are looking for silence surrounded by nature without the oppressive heat, this is the place for you. A good area for walking on extensive beaches and cycling. most interesting places to see: Chapelle Saint-Michel, fort la Latte, Menhir de La Roche Goyon

Gobsmacked! A bucket list item that did not disappoint. It was worth the huge effort to climb up hundreds of near vertical steps to reach the top and to go into the cathedral. Photo opportunities at every turn and a rich tapestry of history throughout. I don't think anyone could take a bad photo of the Mont itself. Would highly recommend.

Dinard is a lovely, clean and friendly town that is very 'chilled' - it puts our UK seaside resorts to absolute shame. Perhaps because there were few 'brits' there - certainly not many 'tubs & tats' There are loads of good shops and restaurants and the locals are really welcoming. The facilities are great for adults and kids alike and prices were quite normal.
