This is an outstanding, extremely good hotel! The lady at the reception desk (I guess the owner) helped me to find the taxi and helped me with my luggage. I am very grateful for. The delicious breakfast and the dinner are served at the breataking room with the panoramic view of the splendid Bay of the Audierne. My room was spacious and very clean. WiFi is good and I was able to work. From the hotel is direct entry to GR34. Everything is perfect.

The size and comfort of the room, the quality of the facilities and the politeness of the staff were all exceptional. The situation in 'le triangle d'or' is fantastic; there are many lovely restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. However should you fancy eating in, you can enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner, as well as cocktails within the hotel. The quality of food is wonderful and it is very tempting to not look further. The decor is reminiscent of the original Conti that my grandparents loved so much; the modern Art Déci style makes it a cosy and truly charming place. I have already booked another stay as I cannot imagine staying anywhere else when in Brest.

Middle of nowhere, lighthouses and beautiful XIV century ruins, ocean all around - and you get a top-notch stylish hotel owned by a third generation of the same family with a Michelin star restaurant and breakfasts made to order (oysters and champagne included). We planned to spend a night there and move on, but ended up staying for 3 days and checking tickets to Brest for the next vacation. Okay, existing SPA is pretty basic, but the new one is opening soon and frankly it's a superb value/comfort for money as it is already.

The public transport system is very good.

The public transport system is very good. Les Capucins and PAM are admirable examples of the transformation of industrial space into cultural and social centres. It's just a pity that there's so much 'tagging' to spoil the urban landscape.

Really liked Quimper. It's a beautiful city.

Really liked Quimper. It's a beautiful city. There is a rich heritage, many old houses, half-timbered houses, pedestrian and shopping streets. The cathedral is monumental, original with its two towers of the 19th and its choir off-center. I went to multiple spots/beaches close to Quimper: 1. Phare d'Eckmühl 2. Plage la Torche-Tronoën 3. Pont-l'Abbé 4. Quimper itself.

It is somewhere one can walk around which makes it very relaxing. This is a sizeable town with an attractive old square offering a limited number of eateries in early September but the pizzeria has plenty of choice beyond pizza and pasta. It's about 10 minutes to drive down to Morgat on the coast where there is a bit more choice of eateries. Crozon has various supermarkets and an out-of-town Leclerc hypermarket as well as a Leclerc Express supermarket, but the town centre Carrefour is fine for most things. We didn't go looking for activities in Crozon because our comfortable gite was a good base for exploring the peninsula by car, and we were only there for three full days.

Beautiful town, very friendly locals and other visitors alike! The only downside was a lack of a coffee shop/bakery opened during our stay (October!) However our main reason for visiting was to show kids where their dad grew up and we couldn’t wish for a better long weekend! Highly recommend it! Bonus points for Heated Pool in our property we stayed and fantastic running trails!

Quiet little town with a port. Easy to find nice places to eat. Not too touristic during winter. Nice spa thalasso around. Not for anyone who seeks out party places. There is also a reasonably priced Moroccan eatery Le Sable d’Or that serves authentic cous cous and home made baklava! There is also a great seafood restaurant, Le Restaurant La Regate, at Hotel Les Sable Blancs.

Lovely artistic town full of art galleries, history, charm, biscuit shops and bakeries. The river with all the bridges creates a perfect bucolic setting. To get there, you'd probably need a car.
