- From $364.54 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Wonderful - What previous guests thought, 619 reviewsGreat location in the middle of the village. Walking distance to everywhere. The hotel itself was great. The Michelin-starred restaurant was very good, but the prices were much higher than essentially any comparable Michelin-starred restaurant I've been to (and that's a few...). Also, the only breakfast option was a 45 euro / person buffet, while their bakery is close almost half the week...Guest review byMickeyIsrael

It was beautifully decorated, the view was nice, everything was cleaned and well maintained. The restaurant, although expensive, was equally amazing and the food was great. The staff was very friendly and their English was very good. Overall a great stay.Guest review byTimoNetherlands

Very clean and safe.
Very clean and safe. Perfect location for a short Elzas discovery trip. Highway to Straatsburg and Colmar/Mulhouse is only 5 mins away. On the other hand it's also a very short drive to get up in the mountains.Guest review byKarmenBelgium - 10.0

Beautiful village with half-timbered houses in the heart of the wine-growing region of Alsace. Very touristy during the daytime, but the crowds thin out considerably in the evening, leaving the storks in peace with those discerning enough to have booked somewhere to stay in the village itself. Eating out is expensive and the quality is mediocre. Nobody needs to try hard here, because the location is stunning and people will keep coming back even when service is poor. Some spectacular castle ruins are hiking distance from the village. The picturesque city of Colmar is within easy reach. The historic village of Turckheim is worth visiting when the town watchman does his nightly rounds of the walls, wishing all the sleeping inhabitants a "guati Nacht" in the Alsacien language.Guest review byThe Language SecretGermany - 10.0

This is a very charming old town, very colourful and historical, in the midst of the Alsace vineyards. A stay of 2-3 days is enough to take in the local history, the delightful shops and the surrounding countryside.Guest review byAlanNew Zealand - 10.0
This is such a picturesque town with lovely people.
This is such a picturesque town with lovely people. The wine! Fantastic. Things don't really open before 10. But the municipal spirit is exemplary. Each business puts great effort into its appearance and shows lovely civic pride.Guest review byEndaUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Beautifully kept Medieval town.
Beautifully kept Medieval town. Extremely well run hotel with outstanding Breakfasts and beautiful food in the Winstub. The staff are very helpful and the owners work very hard and in the hotel every day. They look after their staff and they are all very happy, this comes through to the guests and means we all get treated in a professional manner.Guest review byJulieUnited Kingdom - 4.0

An industrial place, with lot of new houses made mainly of concrete. The mountains are beautiful, of course, probably this city is a good starting point for climbing or montainbiking. But I can't see any other reason to stay there.Guest review byZofiaPoland - 6.0
The village is quite sweet but small.
The village is quite sweet but small. There are a few restaurant choices but they are expensive and the quality didn’t blow us away. It’s ok as a base for exploring the area but maybe not to stay. Best place we ate was Auberge le Biblenhof which I would highly recommendGuest review byHazel & friendsGermany - 6.0

It's a very small village with few to many wine tasting possibilities, depending on the season. The pathetic thing is to book and then go to a restaurant else they don't entertain. Go to the next village and it's like a city.Guest review byShambhu DeoghariaIndia - 10.0

Wintzenheim is a stunning location based amid picturesque scenery, wine growing, restaurants, mountains and castles of Alsace. Very clean. The neighbourhood is friendly and 5 mins away from shops most are within walking distance. The apartment offers a free parking spot and a motor vehicle is recommended - however there is a bus service into the main centre - Colmar, and other nearby villagesGuest review byRobinAustralia - 10.0

Barr is an idyllic quiet town surrounded by gorgeous vineyards. It is very walkable and has regular trains passing through. Everyone was very friendly and even though I didn’t speak French, I got around with gestures and smiles. We went to Mt San Odile which was gorgeous and stopped at a winery to purchase local white wines. Definitely consider Barr if you are visiting AlsaceGuest review byRobinUnited States
