- Scored out of 10, guest rating 6.1Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 330 reviewsMy room was spotless & my bed & pillows were incredibly comfortable. There were plenty of biscuits & tea/coffee making facilities, which was lovely. And breakfast was amazing. My breakfast server was really lovely & got me everything I asked for, including extra biscuits. I was visiting my sisters & will hopefully stay there again next time.Guest review byMartinaIreland

Second visit to Ely as we enjoyed our first visit so much.
Second visit to Ely as we enjoyed our first visit so much. The market on Saturday mornings is amazing with a great variety of stalls, including many locally made crafts. Drayman's Son a local brewery pub/craft beer place is just wonderful. Ely museum and Oliver Cromwell house are well worth the visit. The Cathedral is not to be missed. Plenty of small cafes The riverside is wonderful to walk along and sit and watch the world and boats go by. Places to eat and drink along the riverside and also a large antique/collectables centre. There are excellent links to Cambridge/London from the train station. Everything within the centre is accessible on foot.Guest review byMichelleUnited Kingdom - 10

Ely is a compact city and the sights can be seen is a day.
Ely is a compact city and the sights can be seen is a day. The jewel is undoubtedly the cathedral which is stunning. We ascended the octagon tower which is a 'must'. A riverside walk is also very worthwhile.Guest review byDavidUnited Kingdom
