- From US$393.59 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.5Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 119 reviewsIt was an amazing experience. We never knew what it would be like to stay in the old Abbey but the combination of the old (history, beautiful architecture, stunning views of the lake and the surrounding landscapes) and the new (neat, modern facilities, access to the pool and sauna) was exceptional. We loved how big our apartment was. Our daughter had her own room and bathroom and we all had a separate living room with majestic high ceilings and a big kitchen. We also got a lovely hamper as a welcome gift, which was very handy when didn’t feel like braving the cold to go out to buy a snack.Guest review byAndrew ScottAustralia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 278 reviewsBeautiful cabin in the woods, secluded and peaceful, made you feel truly one with nature. It is easy to reach if you're driving your own vehicle. The space itself was very well furnished, the kitchen had everything you could need to make yourself meals if you chose to. There's a small shop in the property but larger groceries are accessible in the nearby town. I would definitely recommend staying here if you're visiting the Highlands and Loch Ness. We even did a day trip to Isle of Skye and found it a comfortable distance.Guest review byS RoyIndia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 6.5Pleasant - What previous guests thought, 1,299 reviewsYou won't find a more traditional Scottish ambiance anywhere else. This place has such charm...burning wood fire, traditional music playing whilst you eat a delicious home cooked full, hot breakfast. The rooms are very clean and comfortable. Yes, the decor is a little tired but for us this just added to the charm. Staff were so helpful and the location is fantastic!Guest review bySarahThailand

It is a cute little village tucked away from the hustle and bustle from the more touristy areas in the Loch Ness area. Waterfalls and the Loch are easy walks, and it’s a short drive to Urquhart Castle and other sites. There are not a lot of places to dine, so the Glen Mariston is a good choice. Reservations will be needed.Guest review byLisaUnited States - 10.0
The whole experience at this place was excellent.
The whole experience at this place was excellent. The scenery was to die for. The staff were very friendly. The food was fantastic and other travellers were lovely to meet. The most comfortable bed and pillows we have stayed in throughout our entire trip. The manager is an exceptional helpful, lovely person, would highly recommend this facility to travellers. It’s a little hard to find and the road is not the best but well worth the effort 😀Guest review byToniAustralia - 10.0

Wonderful venue with views that literally take your breath away. The dining experience is restaurant quality. Hosts are superb, it’s clear their joy is your joy. Property is stunning, interior design you think but it’s just the imagination of Karla & Karl and it so works.Guest review bystuartUnited Kingdom - 8.0
Lovely little shops to walk in and out of.
Lovely little shops to walk in and out of. You get to watch the loch in action with the four levels the boats have to go through to get to the next section. This is very interesting and a good place to watch this. There are many walks you can do along the Loch which are very picturesque.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Drumnadrochit is a lovely village next to Loch ness, there are a few village shops and a couple of pubs. You can visit the Loch ness Centre, which tells you the history of the famous Loch ness Monster. I would also recommend booking a boat tour with Loch Ness Cruises in the Village. They take you out on the Loch with their boat the Nessy Hunter, which is very good. You also have Urquhart Castle down the road, I'd recommend getting the 919 bus, this will collect you from the bus stop by the Village green and take you straight to the castle. The Loch ness Inn is a good place for food or drink and does some lovely food. You also have access to some good woodland walks too.Guest review byGeorgeUnited Kingdom - 10.0

Lots of interesting things even though it was onky a small village. Loved our stay at Craig na Dav, a lovely B&B. Would highly recommend it. An especially beautiful section of Loch Ness with stunning views, and walking the Falls of Foyers was reason alone enough to visit. The Waterfall Cafe is a very welcome stop, and I recommend the cheese and haggis toasties when you're there.Guest review byRobertUnited Kingdom
