This place exceeded my expectations! The apartment was super spacious, comfy, and stylish. Many details contribute to a special atmosphere: vintage furniture, huge windows, chandeliers, a fireplace, and many more.     We wanted a castle facing room and we got exactly that !! Fantastic view ! Location is bang in the centre of the action near Edinburgh Castle! Reception Staff were every so helpful and went out of their way to guide us to the attractions. The young girls at the reception never batted an eyelid before carrying our heavy luggages up the stairs (very grateful as my wife has had cancer surgery and its "no lifting" for her...and I have an old ligament tear in my wrist). Service Desks were warm and friendly. Will strongly recommend this hotel for their fantastic location and excellent customer service!!

    Such a great place to stay I'm Edinburgh. So very handy to everything for this first time visitor to Scotland. Even though they were having operational issues with their lift service, the staff were incredibly obliging in helping me with my luggage to and from the apartment and also looked after my belongings while spending my last day in Edinburgh. I shall definitely make sure to book there again on my next visit.

    Comfortable beds and excellent hot shower. Cozy bar/lounge area open 24 hrs. Breakfast served from 4:00, good hot breakfast at 6:30. Restaurant open until 21:30 (didn't eat there so can't comment about quality). Very close to airport with shuttle service for a small fee. If you are parking you have to pay an additional L12 per day

    The harbour is charming, and seeing the difference between high and low tide is remarkable. There is a lot of traffic on the high street but the shops are charming and mostly seem to be independent. Locally there is a great brewery, lovely beach and leisure centre with decent pool.

    While I found the room itself comfortable and well-presented...

    While I found the room itself comfortable and well-presented, unfortunately, the overall experience was significantly impacted by a series of distressing events. During the night, there were repeated electricity outages which triggered alarms multiple times. This culminated in the arrival of firefighters at my room—an unexpected and unsettling experience. To add to the concern, there was no staff present at the reception during this time, which left me feeling quite unsafe and unsupported. To date, I have not received any form of apology, explanation, or gesture of goodwill from your team. I believe a situation like this warrants not only a sincere apology but also a degree of accountability and customer care, especially considering the level of disruption and concern caused.

    Plenty of cafes and restaurants in the town. Train service is very good. A visit to Linlithgow Palace is a must and there is a delightful 4km walk around Linlithgow Loch including Linlithgow Palace.

    North Berwick is an adorable seaside town with beautiful scenic views and an amazing golf course. We enjoyed the quaint shops and restaurants as well as hiking the law. Getting around was so simple. We walked everywhere and found it so easy to go back and forth to our accommodations. One word of caution, most places stop serving dinner by 8:00pm. Wonderful place to visit!

    Lovely quiet resort close to amenities with an excellent bus service. Went into Edinburgh every day and saw lots of sites such as the castle / dungeons/ Mary Kings close/ Obscura observatory and a witchy museum. We ate on site or in Edinburgh. All in all we had a fantastic time and made loads of memories.

Probably ok for 4 lads looking for a place to crash and go into the city but the slightly more discerning amongst you will find this second floor property, complete with ghetto style entrance and stairways rather lacking.
