- From US$110.64 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 240 reviewsVery very good ! Spotless clean room, large comfortable bed all we needed after a long day on the road ! Has a restaurant and a bar serving variety of drinks, breakfast and classic english cuisine which was very convenient as it felt like hotel was totally off grid.It is dead quiet at night we felt like we were single guests in there. Very friendly and attentive team members, from very welcoming reception team to extremely helpful bar/kitchen staff. We are both vegans and Kitchen staff made sure to check all the ingredients to cater for us. Just perfect!Guest review byGerdaUnited Kingdom
- From US$133.59 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.0Very good - What previous guests thought, 743 reviewsOnly had the light breakfast first two days as I was meeting friends in the area for lunch on both occasions, which was ample and was only charged a minimal amount ,on third day had full breakfast which was cooked and presented very well, more than I could eat. Property was great with an old fashion feel agood place to spend a relaxing few days, would liked to have stayed longer but flight schedules home made our stay short.Guest review byRichardFrance
- From US$81.96 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.4Good - What previous guests thought, 1,922 reviewsAll good. Clean, quiet. Only improvement would be a cooked breakfast that we would be happy to pay extra for. But we knew what was available so there was no disapointment.Guest review byStephenIreland

A lovely market town.
A lovely market town. I would not recommend the Everest lounge in church street. After ordering veggie Momo and waiting 30 minute's for it to be cooked I was given chicken Momo. And the restaurant only had 4 other customers.Guest review byClareUnited Kingdom - 10

Great location for visiting Stamford, Rutland Water and Oakham. Warm welcome from all the staff. Cosy and relaxing bar area and pleasant dining room. Plenty of car park spaces. Massive bed which was very comfortable with lovely clean, fresh bedding.Guest review byAnonymous - 10

Lovely location and premises, room was clean, perhaps toilet need a little bleach, slightly stained, but I’m a self employed cleaner so abit fussy, good size room and great view over course, even though we were visiting family, still ideal stay even though not playing golf, everyone very friends and helpful, parking was good and property easy to findGuest review byJohannaUnited Kingdom - 10

Seaton is a pretty village and the pub and its staff were fantastic! Locals were really friendly too! We ate in the pub during the evening and it was delicious. The full English breakfast was too! The room we stayed in was great for our needs and really good value.Guest review byCeriUnited Kingdom - 10
Excellent facility in a lovely village.
Excellent facility in a lovely village. Ambience and food good, staff very pleasant. The only downside for us seems to be the distance off the A1 and the M1--we often travel from Northumberland to the south of UK, and the Leicester area is a nice distance from home if we want to split the trip with an o'night.Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10
Lovely room with immaculate ensuite facilities.
Lovely room with immaculate ensuite facilities. Also a very comfortable sitting room for guests and the use of a kitchen. Chris was the perfect host and provided an excellent breakfast. I will definitely return.Guest review byChristineFrance - 10

The location of our accommodation meant we were able to visit several places in Rutland - as well as just on the outskirts - including Stamford, Uppingham, Oakham (and Melton Mowbray on our return home!) Uppingham itself is a small market type town with some interesting independent shops and pubs. Worth a visit for a little mooch around but you don't need too long to walk around the centre/main streets.Guest review byMarkUnited Kingdom - 10

The Old Pheasant is very typical of a coach inn, with very modern fixture and fittings. The food (dinner) was excellent and the continental breakfast was very good. The staff were very tentative and extremely useful and helpful, nothing phased them out and nothing was a problem for them. We will definitely go back, when we are traveling in this area.Guest review byJeffUnited Kingdom
